  1. Male characters in this game are impossible to make attractive but it's probably my fault because I like feminine men and the customization isn't deep enough to do that

  2. Why is it so hard to make good looking male characters in most games? Game devs are generally men and hate the idea of playing as other men, better looking than them.

Now playing as a good looking girl? Hell yeah! Bring on the honey!

Hot attractive guys, NO! They must be rugged and gruff. Preferably less attractive to the opposite sex than the devs themselves, which considering most daily office dwellers, is a low bar.

  3. Very nice advice, but one should always remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Over the years, I have grown more and more convinced that beauty standards are BS, regardless of the efforts to reinforce them via scientific claims or supranormal stimuli (extreme makeup, photoshop, very specific lighting and angles to make everyone look like a perfect doll). We have a weird vision of what is considered "beautiful", which sometimes doesn't match up with what *we* consider attractive. That is why many gamers spend a lot of time tweaking their avatar, trying to make them "hot" by giving them the traits they believe to be desirable (big eyes, full lips, strong facial structures, perfect straight noses) and they end up disliking the generic, "robot-y" result, not knowing why. The truth is, everyone has his types. I, for example, believe that odd features are what make faces striking (eyes a tad too big/small, or separated/close together; thin lips on a broad mouth; a big, solid nose). But what really wins me over is the sense of vulnerability, of humanity. I couldn't care less for people who look like parfum models, posterboys or Hollywood actors. Give me the real deal XD.

Long story short, I believe that the secret to make your character atractive is knowing very well what specific traits make *you* tick, not which ones are supposed to. Once you know, you will be making hot characters like it's nothing (even if everyone else thinks they look like s*** XDDD).

P.S.: Sorry for the rant, but I can get pretty intense when defending diverse beauty standards ^^.

  5. I enjoy creating female characters in CyberPunk, it is very easy to make them look beautiful, but male?…..Shit! It is impossible! I literally spent 1 hour last time, trying different combinations and still end up with a hunchback of notre dame🥲
