Ive been upgrading clothes i like (outfits), to keep them relevant, but i dont think you can add mod slots, or upgrade the rarity of an item like you can with the iconic weapons, also man is it annoying that weapons have. Different skins but there icons dont match that skin
Um that is wrong. i have found tons of legendary crafting specs. You just have to find them. Some also show up as your crafting levels up. Just because you can't find any doesn't mean the game is glitched or bugged. I just got the crafting spec Deadly Lagoon Armored Syn-Silk Pozer-Jacket today Jan/3/20. I have found a lot of specs from killing people. That is actually where you will get a lot of your specs from. The game was made that way so you wouldn't sit in a store all day buying. The game was made to play. Roam and kill which is a really good and fast way to level up and get street cred.

Can You upgrade uncommon clothes to get mod slots?
Look at those trees go. Didn't know we dropped acid. Had me rolling. I also had no idea the clothing vendors had legendary crafting specs. Mine never showed them to me. Thanks for the info. Subed now.
This is not a bug.
Stores have set crafting templates they will sell. When you visit a store, a selection of those will be presented, ranging from all of the shops templates to none. Exiting the cell of the shop and coming back 24h later WILL refresh the inventory. If you roll no templates twice in a row – hey, you are unlucky… roll a third time.
However, after spending a whole day on two different playthroughs refreshing shops – I'm certain that no amount of refreshing them will ever give you new templates other then the 3-4 you'll see by reloading the inventory for a few times. They are also leveld from district to district:
Common in your starting area to legendary in downtown.
As with most of the broken things in this game, save scumming is basically the ONLY workaround. 😂
This is the single MOST annoying bug to me in the whole game.
Do you have to be a high level for her to have legendary crafting specs? Or will she have them if I’m low level

Avante and Jinguji are bugged as well as both have some of the best legendary armour specs. I wanted to craft legendary exo jacks and Avante in corpo plaza is the ONLY shop to sell that legendary spec. I skipped a week trying to get any to show up. They don't after the update. The recipes no longer show up in Jinguji as well which I also needed recipes for.

Cyberpunk devs screwed this whole game up with skip time. Vic says you got maybe a few weeks to live. Skip time weeks you're still alive? Why i hate any game stating time frames in main quests.
Yeah I'm sick of all the bugs so I just console command what I want now. Or you can get a save game from nexus with all crafting blueprints added already for those that don't know how to add commands.
Wow, wish they hadn't removed access to the console. Didn't even realize this was a bug, thought there literally wasn't any legendary crafting specs for clothes.
Just use console and give yourself the crafting specs you want.
Seems pretty logical to me. what game DOESN'T force you to reload a game and skip days to get access to the mechanic they programmed into the game.
I did as many of the side missions in Watson before going into the main mission and unlocking the rest of the map, so I had plenty of money when I saw crafting specs. I even have a legendary armor mod crafting spec. I used that hat for a long time. I already had legendary clothing for everything but boots and hat. Once you get the Armadillo mod really the only thing that matters is how many mod slots the armor has. It does not matter what level or how much armor it gives you. Even with 1-2 slots in your armor you will be a god.
Anyone watching this knows its to late, who are you talking to? Anyone who thinks there's a problem and looks its to late. Put 9n a beginners guide if you want to help

Wish I knew about this, still love the way my character looks, and I have max slots for each clothing piece that I use with the best mods from doing the duplicating glitch lmao
You should be able to upgrade any crafting spec to legendary
You can actually quicksave directly in front of them and reload. You don't need to skip any days to randomise their inventory on the first conversation.
This girl (Wellsprings) has 5 legendary recipes.
The Jinguji and Appel De Paris in City Center have 4 each.
So you can reset on each until you get every recipe, as long as you've never been to them before.
But what sucks is they also sell legendary mods that you can only get once too like Dead Eye and Predator. These can randomly drop in the world so it's not too bad. Generally though this game has too much content you can "miss" for dumb reasons, like not exploring during a chase scene or for talking to a clothing vendor before you have $300k on you.
I was going to make this video tonight but now I don’t have to. Great content. Wish I had’ve known this my first play through. This is going to help a lot of people. One note I’ll add is that you don’t need to skip time when loading. The load refreshes the inventory.
now I know why I can't buy new legendary clothes. And even when I find any, when I come back with cash, I don't see any patterns to buy.
For me, some items always have the maximum number of slots.
And some are always with some upgrade in slots.
Play as netrunner, lev 39 and still on 3 body and 3 reflex, they never see me anyway evil grin
I'll wear whatever looks nice, regardless of quality, armor or modslots.
Lucky I just barely passed this shop literally an hour ago going up the coast doing side jobs. Went back to my save and kept reloading until I finally got 5 legendary craft specs. Glad I saw this, didn't know that was a glitch. I did however notice that other shops that had preem gear would not respawn them no matter how long i sat and skipped time. Liked and sub'd to ur gonk channel
I did the fashion souls thing for most of my playthrough, but ii gets bad as time goes on and everyone 1-shots you. Most of us have already visited the vendors looking for things based on looks so this doesnt help at all. Great advice for a new game but no help to anyone that has put in any time.

Im annoyed at how if youve already got the crafting blueprint for a certain item, it still shows up in the shop from where you bought it.

Is it just me or does the color of a spec/item ONLY affect how many mod slots it has?
