How Kirk Became Night City's Most Tragic Fixer | Cyberpunk 2077 | Character Analysis & Explained

TODAY, we cover one of my MOST REQUESTED characters from Cyberpunk… Which, shockingly, is Kirk Sawyer. Considering how small a role he plays in the overall game (he only appears if you play Streetkid V, in fact), his short story is quite meaningful when you take a look at the creature that is Night City.

For all of Kirk’s flaws, and all the time’s he’s thrown people under the bus, he still has a sort of tragic sadness to him — anyone could see he was his own worst enemy. But also the fact that he was the last person to realize it.

Its amazing how much you can get from even small characters in this game. Cyberpunk is such a great setting, with Night City being the almost living entity that pulls the strings. Kirk never stood a chance.

Thank you so much for watching! 😀 Let me know what you think of Kirk in the comments below. I’ll see you soon with the next one, about, in my opinion, Night City’s most ruthless fixer. MWAHAHHA GOODBYYYEEEEE

  1. Kirk and the fixer from dog town are examples of how actually difficult it is to be a fixer.

They’re also the reason why I believe Waco will have a similar fate even though she’s 100x better at playing the game. All it takes to end them is one due to come up that they can’t pay off or spin to their advantage. And she has more dues owed then v does

  2. 8:44 Aerondight isn't Witcher reference but Arturian legends, It's a name of the sword held by Lancelot given to him by Lady of the Lake. Rayfield is a British car company and they like using British names for their cars and latest line seem to focus on using names from the legends of King Arthus and Knights of the Round Table. Witcher book series just happens to also refer Arturian legens becasue it's author Andrzej Sapkowski is big fan of them. Aerondight was name of the Lancelot sword.

  3. I lowkey felt bad when Kirk got bumped off. For Streetkid V, he was there from the very beginning before the Relic and when Jackie was still around so when he was taken out, it was like the end of an era almost

  4. I thought, "Lol! I didn't know you're a comedian!" but right at the end of the video I realized you're STEAMING DRUUUUNK! I thought tipsy time on Christmas was liesure time? That's some serious commitment you have there!

  5. I still think the USSR's "Top Fixer" Mikael is still more pathetic given how you can ice him pretty easy in his mission. Still Natasha is pretty decently decked out for some huscle, she's certainly not always eating a burger!

  6. I really don’t feel that much connection to Kirk’s character just like I don’t think Panam is a “Ride or Die”. This game and series is just bad overall, I didn’t know it much before the disappointment of Cyberpunk 2077 and afterwards EdgeRunners being made and now I don’t really care to know more of it at all. The characters make moronic decisions and the plot itself while attempting to come off as nihilistic just comes off as an edgy secular search for the soul, not a very good or hard search might I add.

  7. Well, you got to remember there are just human riders in these characters don't have their own volition, they don't even need a reason and they can break the laws of physics should the writers and coders decide to.
