Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt Red. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 10 December 2020, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021. The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customizable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat.

Cyberpunk 2077 is played in a first-person perspective as V, a mercenary whose voice, face, hairstyles, body type and modifications, background, and clothing are customizable. Stat categories—Body, Intelligence, Reflexes, Technical, and Cool—are influenced by the character classes that players assume, which are NetRunner (hacking), Techie (machinery), and Solo (combat). V must consult a “ripperdoc” to upgrade and purchase cyberware implants; black markets offer military-grade abilities. The rarity of any given equipment is shown by a coloured tier system. V can take cover, aim, run, jump, double jump, and slide. Melee strikes can be dealt with close-combat weapons. There are three types of ranged weapons, all of which can be customised and modified—Power (standard), Tech (which penetrate walls and enemies), and Smart (with homing bullets). Ranged weapons are equipped to ricochet bullets in a target’s direction and slow them down in bullet time. Four types of damage can be inflicted and resisted—Physical, Thermal, EMP, and Chemical. Weapon use increases accuracy and reloading speed, which are manifested in character animations. Gunsmiths repair and upgrade weapons. The game can be completed without killing anyone, with non-lethal options for weapons and cyberware.

Step into the shoes of V, a cyberpunk mercenary for hire and do what it takes to make a name for yourself in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour, and body modification. Legends are made here. What will yours be?

Take on the job of a lifetime — to steal a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality — and build your legend in the vast open world of Night City, where the choices you make shape the story and the people around you. Take on a variety of gigs to go from up-and-coming mercenary to legendary cyberpunk, all while uncovering the mysteries of the priceless implant everyone is dying to get their hands on.

Night City – A megalopolis packed to the brim with things to do, places to see, and people to meet. And it’s up to you where to go, when to go, and how to get there. From the polished high rises of Corpo Plaza to the spacious outskirts of the Badlands, Night City is teeming with secrets to discover.

Meet a host of memorable characters, from rockerboy rebel Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) to a variety of fixers, friends, and enemies — all of whom have their own agenda. Who you choose to help and how won’t always be easy, and it’ll have far-reaching consequences for your own survival.

  1. In night city there is no winning only losing either in the best way or the worst way all you can do is try your best with the chooms you have beside you. Im glad i got to experience this story it was so wonderfully done

  2. Cyberpunk has put me on a rollercoaster of emotions the last few years. Started off being so excited for the game to come out and it was the first or second game I played on ps5. Unfortunately it felt like a huge let down, I finished my playthrough and didn’t know if I’d ever touch it again. I came back to play new game plus after it was out for a bit and actually enjoyed myself but still didn’t consider the game to be a favorite of mine. Phantom liberty came out with 2.0 and completely restored my faith in CDPR and their story telling and game play. Honestly one of the best dlcs I’ve ever played, the fleshed out side gigs and missions reminded me of the Witcher 3. Thanks CDPR for not giving up on the game and whoever made this video great job!

  3. They really cooked for this expansion. They made lots of great new soundtracks when nobody would even complain if they just used the previous soundtracks from the base game since they were great too. I feel lucky to have gotten this expansion even though I paid for it because I feel like I've gotten so much more than what I paid for.

  4. ive said it before but this song is a microcosm for V's story as a character especially in the Tower ending. sad, happy, depressing and filled with the never ending light of hope just like V.

  5. Считаю большим упущением, что разрабы не дали закрутить роман с Алекс. Вроде бы в баре всё к этому шло, но нет)

  6. When I fall, I fall the distance
Never knowin' which way's up, down
    It's never what it seems
When it's all I'm ever missin'
And it feels as though I'm waiting
And I don't need no head in my hands
To know I'm ever heading way south
I think I'll find it all somewhere 'tween the ice and fire
Cause it's all I'm ever thinking
    And I need another savior
I don't hear anything about it right now
Take down, all of this is jaded somehow
It's not me, so fade a little off in the wind
Make it up, break it up, find that it's the hardest to be
I'm never good at reading signposts
I lost my way at quarter past one
I'd shed a tear if I could even conjure up emotion
And I'm hungry for a feeling
I don't hear anything about it right now
Take down, all of that is jaded somehow
It's not me, so fade a little off in the wind
Make it up, break it up, find that it's the hardest to be
I don't hear (don't hear) anything about it right now
Take down, all of this is jaded somehow
It's not me, so fade a little off in the wind
Make it up, break it up, find that it's the hardest to be

  7. The fact that the new Starfield expansion costs as much as Phantom Liberty did just tells you everything you need to know about how differently CDPR is built to most other game studios. Disasterous launch aside, Cyberpunk 2077 is a bonefide masterpiece and this expansion was the best part of it.
