  1. Game dev/ composition artist here, one of the reasons it looks real is actually what you said- the slight blurring of textures, and the camera lens itself. While that might be pretty obvious, another factor in making these hyper realistic fps's is the lighting. Ever notice how ALL these body cam games take place either at overcast, heavy clouds, thunderstorms, or night? For cases like overcast you're making everything desaturated (mimicking our world, which is pretty dull lol). And for night, heck you can just plain get away with low detail; that's why Jurassic Park 1 still looks so good, for example. From what I saw Cyberpunk doesn't run on Unreal Engine, however if I had to guess, their engine has something similar to what UE uses for foliage (foliage in UE is insanely high quality, and can make scenes look that much more real). Alot of those hyper realistic fps's, Bodycam for example, use UE- which as of UE 5 can output some insanely realistic assets, lighting, materials, etc! It's gunna be fun seeing not just fps's but other games in the future with how powerful these engines are getting : )
