Best ending. The only honest ending. The other endings are just illusions of V trying be remembered, or Johnny leaving the city a changed person… but no, we all know that Cyberpunk world is about trying to save yourself. And the Arasaka ending is, at least right now, the only ending in which V tries to do so.
This is the ending I got the first time, it literally made me so depressed cause everything I did I thought was the right thing and it just left me alone with everyone hating me in the voicemails. I don't have the mental state for this man 😭😭
I actually really liked this ending, it was so much fun to play and so relevant for corp background V. The worst things in this ending that I can think of were Saburo returning to life and Johnny being totally disappointed in V, which I should point out V tried to help Johnny, she killed Adam Smasher for him and even showed Saburo the finger just for him. It was never about Johnny or rebellion (for my V at least), it was about surviving the city. And in the end, she did do that.
Secret ending is the most hopeful imo, I feel like the mission V is on might actually be leading to the cure. As a female V of course Judy dumps you and leaves, but after playing through all the endings, she really is just dying to leave V and night city anyway, so good luck Judy and don't let the door hit you on the way out. At least Panam wouldn't leave you, but even with her ending its kinda meh because you don't have any real hope of getting cured.
Hearing Cherami Leigh as the voice of Female V was quite the headspin when I first heard it, more used to things like Lucy from Fairy Tale and Suzuha from Steins;Gate. She's come a very long way since then.
Female V sings it much more vibrantly, but off beat while Male V sings on beat but distantly as if the sound of it is stuck in his head but can't quite remember where from.
In this ending Everyone died for nothing, Arasaka won, V is basicly a machine in organic body, and everyone left V alone. There is no a single positive in that ending, whoever chosed this ending didnt listened or understood the story.
Female V sucks. Male street kid V is the best version and actually makes sense. Especially his interactions with Silverhand. The secret ending where it's just you and Johnny versus arosaka as male V is also superior and makes sense to the theme of the game.
funfact (or at least fun theory) its hinted that V kills everyone on the space craft after this scene as many characters voice mails act as if they never saw V after this
Possibly the most Cyberpunk ending, because Night City never changes. The corporations always have all the power and always will.
Even in the endings where V 'wins', V essentially gives Arasaka the equivalent of a bug bite.
It's like Wolfram & Hart from Angel, these corps are so overwhelmingly powerful that they cannot be defeated, the most anyone can do is slow them down, give them a temporary setback.
But fighting evil is always worthwhile, even if it's a losing battle. In LOTR, Frodo eventually loses his fight with evil and gives in to The One Ring, but his journey and resistance to it until then had already set up it's destruction.
Evil is inherently self-destructive. Let Arasaka have enough rope and it'll hang itself. It's currently gearing up for another Corpo War with Militech, who have the NUSA and Night Corp onside.
That's why I always chose the Star ending. Slow Arasaka down right when they can't afford a set-back, just as the 5th Corpo War is about to kick off.
the feels

Сотрудничать с Арасакой, это означает продать душу дьяволу
You can go home but Judy already skipped town.
The lore: "Most of the UK is underwater due to rising sea levels"
The game: 0:46
i cried at this ending.
The best ending is storming the gates alone with just johnny in your head
even if you die its fitting for the story and the setting
I like the one where V hums Judy’s theme the most
Johnny's secret ending is best by far… Cause its actually a good ending even if V dies, atleast he/she accomplished their dreams…
Alright what is everyone favorite ending I am doing 3 playthroughs and I am ok with spoilers I just wanna know everyone's favorite ending and why
Beautiful Vi!
In the grim dark future of 2077, there is only war

How can you pass without showing the middle finger to that 'beach' lol
I watched this video like 10 times and only now did I see that V has a nose ring
Pretty cool
wish we had a full version tho
I wish we can go to space with goro ❤️
This is the most Black Mirror ending lol

Honestly in this ending i think the male VA did better female V sung never fade away male VA lived it
By the way, V is angry that we as the player/ their cyber psychosis led them here.
This cutscene always make me cry like a baby, especially when she holds the necklace and the song starts to fade in…

The only ending in which V keeps their sould intact
Who actually would pick this ending!?

Reminds me of an dementia patient.

Bursts in Surprise V, This is a the start of your life in Starfied, Here touch this magic rock and see sounds!! 😀
V: What the fu- Goes on a trip
this ending just feels like you betrayed johnny in every way, and it hurts more if you have him at 70% of friendship
V never said anything ..? I thought V was really about to sing that shii. Ya got me Choom
Chills
Damn…. That made my stomach turn Fr..
NEVER trust Arasaka.

She should've been an engram. Saburo definitely would honor his savior to find a replacement body. Smasher 2.
Worst singing ever, to what music I don't know.
