Its been confirmed if you do this glitch with non stackable items (like guns and armor) and you start duplicating a lot if them (and its actually quite a shit ton you need) this is a quick way to reach the 8mg save file limit and corrupt your file. Now if you do it with things like crafting parts (common, uncommon, epic, etc…) because its an increase in just a numer on the screen, it wont actually affect your save file size. Good luck

I’ve been doing that trick with that painting whenever I need more eddies until I reach millions. I’ve now been able to purchase all vehicles, motorcycles & cyberwares in the game. Also, CDPR got rid of the 8MG limit save file. I’m not sure what the new limit is or if they just completely removed the save file size limit. I’m playing on XBOX Series X & my current save file size is around 400MB.

Important addendum, always do it on the painting first as it still charges for the buy back of the duplicate items.
