I helped Songbird my first playthrough. After knowing the cure can only be used once and she knew that, I don’t think I’ll help her in any future playthroughs especially after I sided with Reed my second playthrough. She flips like why are you doing this and how could you betray me? Like you weren’t going to betray me to save YOURSELF? The nerve. Plus the rewards you get from siding with Reed are better in my opinion.
I saved her every play through. Like I’ve said last time. Song bird is all alone and just viewed as a weapon for the government. Whereas my V either has Judy or Panam to be with me. On top of that I have the aldecaldos. Plus, I’ve always viewed someone else’s above mine which is why I joined the military and went in healthcare. But I agree it’s a load question. Despite her lying to us I have people who care about me. She doesn’t have anyone.
V is clinically dead ftom the moment Dex shoots V in the head! You wouldn't even get walking around if it wasn't for the Relic! Not only that but V was inhabiting the landfill for far longer than ppl think… at least 2 weeks!
Worse still Johnny isn't even Johnny! So should V help Song So Mi? Yes because there's no cure for being dead!
I think saving Songbird is the right answer, she’s basically going through the same thing you are and quite frankly as the character, you’re kind of lying to yourself if you don’t think you’d likely do the same thing as what Songbird to help yourself as well.
Honestly, it depends if you will betray her or not. If not, then go for it. Save her. But if you will betray her, it's only right to let her die in the end. It's what she also wanted. Or else she will live her life tortured under Myer's control again. And like from what she said, "it's fate worse than death".
It’s not a question of “deserve”. She’s 100% a victim and needs help. I would say the same for V, although V did put themselves in this situation. I fully expected Song to betray V. It just didn’t matter.
Honestly, even if Song doesn't deserve it, Alex does. Reed is a shadow of himself and only lives for the NUSA. Alex has dreams and a life to live after Phantom Liberty. Plus, Meyers doesn't deserve the power songbird gives her, nor does she deserve to keep abusing her.
Reed's ending is the only one worth it. The kind of ending that leaves you speechless and empty, the symbolism behind hits you hard. Forcefully pulled out of a dream.
Hard to say. She’s only in her situation because NUSA gave her an alternative punishment to being handed over to netwatch for hitting that data fort. She’s not a regular agent she’s serving her punishment. It did end up going too far but she tries to manipulate and backstab everyone to save her own skin. Cynosure is Militech aka NUSA’s technology and we know Myers doesn’t care about messing with the blackwall AIs so if Songbird told her about the neural matrix I’m certain she would’ve greenlit a mission at the very least to keep songbird working. Plus if they used the neural matrix before her condition got so bad she probably could’ve been saved without losing her memories. Only problem is Songbird would still be stuck with the FIA and she chose to risk everything for a chance to escape her punishment.
i mean i myself helped her because first i dont like to be tied to the NUSA and help them out since they are literally Militech, she is a victim with too much power that got abused by the president and i feel bad for her. as Johnny said in one of the endings, she is in the same spot as you, only she has to deal with things alone. i feel bad for her and the only thing i dont like is that so many innocents die in the process which dont deserve it, but Mayers is to blame for all.
When she says that she is gonna turn the Stadium hostile making turrets killing all those civilians including kids i just anted to zero her right there, later when NCPD calls MaxTax reporting an "omega" cyberpsycho I think how much the Black Wall consume her huminity, but then she reveals she was using V and the NeuralMatrix only work once, i as dammmm I hate her xP
Yes, only do that if you value other people's lives more than your own. If I was given that choice irl I would pick anyone else besides myself

No , if she told the truth V would have helped anyway. She started their relationship on a lie and deserves no sympathy.
Yes, because we can do something for her. She has a chance. That is empathy. So, for me, it was the best choice.
i literally hate songbird so much lmao
No, the quest line if you betray her is way cooler
