Hey guys, this obviously isn’t my main video for cyberpunk 2077 or even a video I intended on making but but as you know I’m very much team “Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t an immersive sim, it’s just pretending to be one” WHELP, I’ve done it: I’ve found hard proof that cyberpunk 2077 is ABSOLUTELY NOT an Immersive Sim in any way whatsoever. This clip perfectly demonstrates how you’re only allowed to think outside the box when CDPR wants you too and only in ways they intended and they will straight up break their own game and softlock you before you’re allowed to do something that they didn’t think of.

By the way I went around this entire building looking for alternate entrances and found nothing. All the doors were locked, unable to be skill checked, and some of the doors out back didn’t even have any sort of prompts on them period as if it wasn’t even possible to interact with them at all.

I was gonna post this on twitter, but for some reason Adobe Premiere’s Twitter encode settings are completely incompatible with desktop Twitter

  1. Well, be grateful you can at least raise your gun. I found myself stuck in a firefight and my ability to use my gun completely shut off. It looks like it’s a lockout from an earlier dialog scene that never got released. Thus, I’m in some warehouse, surrounded by Borg drones shooting at me, and I’m only allowed to fight back with my fists. And this effects every single one of my saves. According to research I might be able to fix this through some manipulation of fast travel or by storing guns in my apartment then picking them up again, but I just don’t have the patience to have to macgyver this game just to play it as intended.

  2. Cyberpunk is still a hugely broken game in general, whichever genre you want to call it. I will never trust CDPR to make a good game ever again.

Really makes you appreciate the level of skill and talent that it took to create masterpieces like Dishonored. In a completely different league.

  3. I know this vid is old, but I can think of at least 5 different ways off the top of my head to get inside.

    1. Frontal assault from the footbridge
    2. Hop over the crates and head into the security building
    3. Use the maintenance tunnels to remain undetected
    4. Steal the van, drive right in, and get to the floats via the roof
    5. If you chose the Corpo path, convince the guard to let you through and nobody will question you
