I also fixed it but going back to your safe house and falling asleep and watching the tv, once i walked back outside i was able to draw my weapons again.
Fast traveling to redwood market seemed to be the glitch trigger for me. When i fast traveled to another location from there, weapons were back again. Any way, strange bug. EDIT: Omg, the redwood market elevator does the same thing! How am i supposed to do the mission there?!
The guy seeking a meele on your apartment is easy to use for cut scene i tried so e of the comments like fast travel it did not work for me i tried talking to doc reapers didn’t help but i did it on the meele seller on your apartt
This literally just happened to me. I had to fight a cyber psycho through quick hacking. It's super frustrating running from a cyber psycho with mantis arms. I'm going to try and find another cut scene tomorrow

Since using a joytoy is kind of a cutscene, and am currently at a point where I cannot continue the main story, I'm going to test using a joytoy to fix this bug (Im having it right now). I'll edit with the results. It'll be funny if just running to a joytoy will fix a glitch.
Using a joytoy DOES in fact count as a cutscene and fixed the bug. Best 100 eddies I ever spent 10/10 would fix again.

I literally just started the game and literally the first mission after you do the tutorial where ur searching for some girl and you go past the first chick laying dead on the Gurney and she's got her Tiddy hanging out and you go into the next room and theres a dude with his back turned amd I guess I hacked him? Pissed him off amd another dude comes in when the door opens, well needles to say I'm here 🤣🤣🤣 I cant pull my gun. WTF. I heard the rumors about Bugs, but come on.

BIG UPS BRO!!! The odd nature of this bug is that it persists through saves. A game-breaker without said workaround.
