FINALLY, the Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod has reached it’s full potential when paired with an RTX 4090, my mind has officially been blown by this RTX 4090 Cyberpunk 2077 VR gameplay and I cannot wait to spend hundreds of hours in Nightcity! The Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod has been available for quite a while but it’s been one of the most difficult VR mods to run due to Cyberpunk 2077s high demand on PC specs when it comes to achieving solid performance. I previously settled for medium to low graphics presets and a resolution of around 1640×1640 and STILL only got around 30-40fps in VR… but now thanks to the 4090 VR gameplay performance I can max everything out on 2432×2432 resolution and can achieve a far more stable and consistent framerate which could be improved even further with a little more tinkering! Cyberpunk 2077 is an INSANE VR experience on this new PC…

I’ll be running more RTX 4090 VR gaming tests over the next few weeks, please leave a comment down below if you’d like to see me test certain games or VR mods, I’m already keen to revisit the Resident Evil VR mods and performance hogs like Green Hell VR but feel free to recommend some more to me and I’ll start working my way through them all.

  1. The 3080 does a serviceable job with quality and frame rate, but I just can not get the FOV and head-tracking right. I can't stay in VR long enough to try and dial it in. It is immediately horrible. Anyone got the giga strat?

  2. The question I have here – do you have a PCVR headset like the Reverb G2 or even the Rift-S where you won't have the compression from Airlink but can push right through the full Displayport?
I am currently waiting at the Shiftall MeganeX or wondering what HTC is teasing or another PCVR headset that Thrillseeker and SadlyItsBradly seem to be under NDA for – but have been dropping hints for months now…

  3. I definitely want to see you go back to RDR2 with maxed settings. That for me is still one of the most immersive worlds to walk around. Get the lantern out and take a walk through the forests at night…
Fallout 4 VR with mods is also somewhere you haven't been before BB.

  4. well this video has great timing since I will get the parts to my new system in the next few days, also with a 4090 (+ CPU 7950X, 32 GB Ram) – and I will look into Cyberpunk 2077 VR since I love this game and already spend 250 hours in it. The only thing that might be an upgrade to your experience in my opinion is another VR headset, like the Valve Index or Quest Pro, the screen clarity and FOV just isn't the same with the Quest 2. But I bet it was still awesome nevertheless and a great experience! looking forward to the raytracing video about this.

  5. Awesome upgrade! But now you should really get a headset like the Reverb G2. Quality wise its' leaps and bounds compared to the Quest 2, it's on a complete different level, I can guarantee on that. Both in term of resolution and fidelity (since its tethered trough display port so it has no streaming nor compression).

  6. You could throw the fixed foveated rendering mod on there to get an extra 20% Will you do a new Red Dead video? I'd also appreciate a new mod installation walk through. Thanks. Just go into debt to get the Quest Pro. When eye tracked foveated rendering gets implemented that'll give you another 30% boost, although it won't look good in videos.

  7. HELP I'm such a noob but I'm a ICT pro with powerful VR pc using a HP Reverb G2. Where do I get the MOD, which one is the best to run Cyberpunk in VR? I'm Googling Vorpx ir LukeRoss mod? or they use the same?

  8. Hey Beardo, thank you for the video! May I ask what FPS did you have when you first had the Cyberpunk 2077 up with VR, after mod 1.5? I might have missed your commentating but what GPU did you have in the first time?

  9. I was going to purchase a 4090 as well. Waited all Morning to buy one. It went from Coming Soon to Out of Stock. Now I see 4090 popping up on Craigslist, Ebay, etc.. for around $2,300-$2,500. Ain't no way I will pay that. He'll, I didn't want to pay the $1,600 + Taxes. My 3090 isn't even a year old yet. I will wait until the Prices become reasonable. VR is Fun but, So is Playing on My Steam Deck. 😉👌
