  1. Take away DLSS 3.0 and the 4090 doesn't look quite so impressive… This whole generation hinges on AI generated fake frames to give fake FPS performance increases. That's why 30 series will never see DLSS 3.0. Can't have a 3090 suddenly beating a 4080 16GB for half the price can we?

  2. FYI the Optical Flow Accelerator in the new 4000 GPUs is up to 4x faster than the same hardware in the 3000 series. DLSS 3 isn't practical on a technical level. None of the comments understanding this is genuinely tilting me. Sometimes software innovation requires new hardware. It's the equivalent of complaining that RT isn't possible on a GTX 1060

  3. Hey CD projekt red devs.. add fsr 2.1 cuz that is something that will make more users happy not this soap opera effect crap.. that will double the latency, ii can have that shit on my tv right now.. looks good feels like shit

  4. 2080s was my investment hoping 20 series was the rnd cost for invisible rx 3000 series n now this trash. I'm out going rx7000 no matter what absolutely done w u scammers

  5. Give it a month and modders will find a way to run DLSS 3 on the 30 series- At which point Nvidia will suddenly find a patch down the back of the sofa and all those who bought 40 series cards for DLSS 3 will be raging…

  6. Chill out everyone, this is RTX 3090Ti Native vs RTX 4090 DLSS3 comparison, hence such a drastic FPS difference. Having this feature on RTX 3 Series wouldn't make much of a difference.

Let's do the math.. 22fps at 4k equals 44fps at 1080p, but here DLSS2 is already churning 66fps? If it was DLSS2 "Quality" it would be rendering at 1440p level fps, lets say 32fps ok, what fidelity is 64fps for DLSS2 then? It's "Crap" fidelity level? So they r boasting about 100fps with DLSS3, it can only mean perfomance achieved at "Super Crap" fidelity level? lol!

This is not just some wizardry but the result of HARDWARE with extra tensor core prowness doing it's thing plus software tweaks and who knows what. We know raw rendering will be at least 1.5x higher so its realistic to expect 2x RT improvements, hence instead of 32fps at DLSS2 "Quality" we get 64fps. Now we are seeing another extra 50% uplift with DLSS3 wow! But let's get real, will it have the same fidelity as Quality DLSS2? Let's hope, only time will tell. If DLSS3 was just software able to give you 50% more fps, uping those realistic 32fps we already have to 48fps (1080p FPS rendering level at 4K "Quality DLSS") it wouldnt be such a drastical result ro RTX3000 owners, and it would be released for the series in time. I'm guessing this much of a improvement, like RT is tied to hardware, so if DLSS3 does come to RTX3 it's not even going to up the ant by 50% but less, around 30% maybe? Suming up, that's how they claim around 4.5x perfomance uplift compared to 3090, it's Native 22fps vs DLSS3 96fps.

Anyway so with a 2x uplift we can play a good optimized RT game maxed at 120FPS 1080p and 60FPS 4K Native with a RTX 4090. Any game right now without RT will be pushed around 120FPS 4K Native as the 1.5x kicks in so we r really good with this RTX 4090. We know RTX 3090 FPS at 4K is about the same as a RTX 3060 at 1080p so if DLSS3 is able to give us 1080p FPS at 4K level this could mean the same result to RTX 4060 owners, everybody happy! Now imagine AMD coming up with Native performance at the same level or even better whoosh.

  7. I'm waiting to see raw tests of the 4090 WITHOUT dlss 3.0, because very few games use it😶I have an 3000, but i pass this generation for the moment🤔The 4080 12 GB is a 4070 in disguise with double the price ! Be careful, by pulling on the cord, the 4090 could remain like the 3090ti😂

  8. Buying a 30xx series this year is like buying a house in 2007/2008…

I was freaking actually happy to pay msrp earlier this year for my 3080ti, I thought about flipping it for an extra grand, but the gamer in me couldn't stop myself from upgrading my 1080ti… $1550 gone and several months later, 3090s we're like $900…

This is anti consumer… I'm sure EVGA dropped out because in the past, EVGA would let you at least upgrade your card if something like this occurred… But how can they if Nvidia cuts prices in half after running an anti consumer market since the 20xx series!!! I paid 550 for my 1080ti

The 3080 ti is barely over a year old and Nvidia is saying it can't support the latest SOFTWARE!!! We already know it can… They will release 4060s with dlss 3 support which I'm sure won't out perform the 3080 ti…

  9. 20 FPS without DLSS is pathetic, not everyone wants to use DLSS. Stop wasting resources with those uncessary RTX max modes and take lessons from Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition which runs GI that looks much better than Cyberpunk here and also runs waaay faster.

  10. so its designed to work with the new hardware, yes there is a hardware difference. An nvidia engineer said in theory with more engineering they could maybe get 3.0 to work on older cards it wouldnt have nearly the benefit. So basically you are demanding nvidia spend a bunch of money to support your card with not much benefit to you. basically degrading the dlss 3.0 brand by providing marginal help for what would be a majority of their market. 2000 and 3000 cards. So while you are butt hurt, you are not really missing out on anything. you might be right though, they are getting killed for this.. They really should have released it for 2000 and 3000 cards….. Their tag line would have been…… dlss 3.0 for all. works great on 4000 series cards but not so well on 3000 and hardly at all on 2000. they should have proven why it doesnt work as well on 3000 cards if not available for those cards. would be going over way better, however, even if hardware limitation, people would still be doubtful…..and hurt

  11. so you are saying even a 4080 12gb is so weak that i can run cyberpunk 2077 with rt on , at just 22 fps? like a 3080 does better than that!
nvidia wtf? whats this 4x perf all about? stop telling lies
