  2. Are there any other games like Cyberpunk?
When you talk about the map design at the beginning, I am trying to think if something like this has been done before

Not even ubisoft has done a detailed vertical open world, let alone in first person.

Maybe DICE? Who was behind Mirrors Edge.

  3. Also, about the character creation.
It is common in RPGs that you need to start a new game to change your character.
Entire franchises like Elder Scrolls and Mass Effect do this as well

Not that this is an issue, but that there is a precedent and might be intentional game design

  4. I played CP 2077 on the PS5 with little to no bugs, but there are so many other aspects of the game that just truly suck, such as cops spawning out of nowhere, HORRIBLE AI and PS2 type physics, that I uninstalled the game after about 5 or 6 hours of play time…

  5. i think the developers made the suicide ending so depressing after the fact is to say suicide isnt the answer to your problems… even if it is a noble thing to do in a sense… thats all really, people just dont want to make any suicide in media seem like it was a good decision or whatever, because that might be damaging to their players in some way or another.

  6. Cdpr on Cyberpunk bit off more than they could chew and got stuck in it putting massive time into some parts that maybe didn’t even make the cut and got caught up in it until it was too late. I think highly realistic graphics and whatnot that people tend to look at a lot and base their opinions on these days is what killed it. I dont think people should put such a high priority on super realistic graphics. If the graphics were a little toned down instead of it only running on top of the line pc’s it wouldn’t have had that much problem on consoles even without being highly optimized and wouldn’t have had that much bugs too cause lot of issues are caused by the system not being able to keep up with demand thats why high end pc’s have less bugs also. And if that was the case they would have had more resources to allocate to other things like a more dynamic world and stuff. I think people’s obsession with graphics causes lots of damage while playing super mario on a nes system is way more fun than some of these graphical powerhouses. I think people and reviewers and gaming media need to shift graphics to a lower priority.

  7. I wasnt really bothered about the game since the e3 trailer but in the final week till release the hype got to me i was excited for the game i pre ordered the day before release and got disappointed havent played it since that day it has a lot of potential but it needed more development time 100%

  8. 1:49:00 he mentions where you send Jackie's body post heist. If you send him to his mom you get a side story of his funeral and some time talking with his girl. If you send him to Vik, Araska will take his body. In the end when you sit down with haniko and her father theres also an ability to talk with the "ghost" of Jackie. But he's not all there and it's a really bitter sweet scene.

  9. Man watching the first hour and a half of this makes me remember how absolutely awesome and interesting the prologue was. Then Johnny shows up and everything slowly starts to unravel. Absolute travesty how much potential this game had and how short it fell of it.

  10. 1:49:15 –> When you send Jackie's remains to his mom, you actually get a kind of continuation of the quest. You can go to Jackie's funeral, and if you complete all of it , you get Jackie's motorcycle. This was then my main mode of transportation for the rest of the game, I thought it was a nice touch.

  11. 26:15 no way I thought the exact same thing, that your brain was still recovering from Arasaka's surgery and you couldn't see colors correctly. it even kinda made sense with the rubix cube, and then after a few cutscenes it worked itself out. crazy that that is a bug

  12. Jackie sent to family = funeral quest. Jackie sent to doc = talk to virtual jackie in arasaka. But, afaik the virtual jackie is all just recycled dialog they try to pass off as a new conversation/ a tell to show its not really him. not sure there.
