  1. 2020: CDPR announced next-gen upgrade for CB 2077 and Witcher 3 for next year
    gets delayed until 2022 instead

CDPR shouldn't put release dates if they can't keep their word

  2. Honestly? After Cyberpunk I really have no interest in anything released by CDProjectRed

Yes Witcher 3 was undeniably amazing – but I'm not going to support an awful company, just because they released one good game

And let's be real here, this next gen 'update' is going to look almost identical to the original

  3. Honestly, I just don’t wanna hear any release dates from them anymore unless it’s 100%.

With Cyberpunk, that is gonna take a long ass time to get into working order so I honestly just think they should delay that next gen upgrade and bundle the upgrade with fixes to the game to make it worthwhile.

Then for Witcher 3, honestly roll that one out first. It’s the much easier task. It’ll also give us something to do in the meantime while CDPR gets their shit together and gets Cyberpunk in a half decent state with a next gen upgrade to boot.

No idea why they make things harder for themselves at this point. Only clear route to go is the No Man’s Sky redemption. Don’t say anything until you have results.

  4. In 2022 they're gonna delay it again 😂… personally I'm happy I managed to play the game on PS5, the biggest bugs I had to deal with was the constant crashes and t-posing NPCs but I enjoyed the story. But with the state it launched in, no way they deliver anything that comes close to proper next gen quality anytime soon.

  5. Am I only one who thinks this is just… fine?

Like we (talking about the people who already purchased the game) already finished it. People who want to wait next gen… they would've already been waiting 12 months, having 1-3 months extra is next to nothing, if the quality is great.

What is little disappointing is that I was expecting TW3 Next gen to come out so I would have something to play for Christmas. Still holding off to playing that game… and same goes with Baldur's Gate 3.

I guess I'm off to playing Baldur's Gate 1 again.

  6. I played and loved Witcher 3 on my PS4 i have the special version…But giving CDPR more money which they don't deserve after the mess of Cyberpunk it's a big no from me….Witcher 3 is always on sale on steam as well.

  7. CDPR hit a goldmine when they released Witcher 3 the management used that popularity to sell and hype up Cyberpunk but delivered not a masterpiece like Witcher 3 but a very rushed broken mess…It looks like Witcher 3 was a fluke which this company got lucky with.

  8. I mean, by Q1 2022 it might actually have entered the Alpha phase. So maybe it's a more complete version of the game that people can enjoy. And if they're smart they're not just adding in all the updates with higher performance in the next gen version. Hopefully the PS5 and Series X version of the game will be a total relaunch of the game that is far more complete than what the current version is. And it will mark the standard that they hope for the PS4 and Xbone version to reach at some point? One can hope… One thing is for sure, they shouldn't put it out unless it is closer to what was promised. At this point their promise can probably never be achived. Atleast not with this game. But something better should be possible. I personaly would rather wait a few more years for a finished game that to buy a broken mess of a Pre-Alpha version. But you make a valid point about if they even should finish it at this point. I suppose the best we should expect is that they just make whats there function as a game so they can infact move on to other games before the end of the decade.
