  1. As far as the first one goes remember Hanako is in her eighties, Yorinobu is in his nineties,Saburo is 150 and Adam Smasher is up there as well. Years mean nothing.

  2. My headcannon is that they got shipped to someone who will reprogram them for use them in a corpo paramilitary assault squad.
Seems fitting with the "no happy endings" theme of Cyberpunk.

  3. Thank you for assembling the pieces of this intricate mosaic. The quest designers clearly put a lot of thought into these interwoven storylines yet the connections aren't always apparent to the player – at least without an exceptional memory for detail.

  4. I found The Drowned Man in a melee, no-vehicle run I did, skipping right into the cyberpsycho deck. And it was the first time that I went "huh, there are unmarked, unrelated events in the game, I wonder how many" and only then did I find out about the 190 hidden gems in the game.
This is such a dense game. I've "only" sunk ~200 hours into it, but very few of those hours were spent in repetitive tasks.

  5. This was great but you left out the arrival and clean up visuals for the Diego gig.

If you return to the pier several hours later, Maxtac is on site doing clean up after taking him

fun fact, one of the two dead people that have fallen on the sand has an epic sandevistan! it's not too bad and it's free so yeah

  7. Hi there love the content, and your thumbnails showing off David Martinez's jacket, just a quick one here I understand it's not relevant to the video. I just wanted to make sure you'd seen the film the island. I don't need to sell it it is one you will enjoy of that I am certain. It's a utopia, much like night city but relies on also a matter of perspective. If my opinion wasn't good enough the company leading this Utopia is called Biotechnic. Just don't want you to miss out on a great movie.

  8. I never have the patience to do all the legwork to link the different threads together, so I love your videos that explain how so many gigs and encounters fit together into the overall story. You're doing a service not only to the players, but a service to CDPR themselves as you're shining a light on all the hard work they put into making the world interconnected.

  9. Excellent storytelling. The effort of a backstory in all of these quests is commendable, but as Sam Bram has obviously taken hours to piece together, is almost lost to many who (like me) are focused only on the main storyline. So, this is much appreciated. …and I think it's your British accent that makes me love it even more.

  10. I never actually thought too much about it personally, never read the shards not cared about them.

I just got in knocked them all out with the non-lethal weapon from the Meredith encounter and got my reward and completely forgotten about the whole quest line.

So it's fascinating to see the more indepth Annalise of it all.

    Thanks for covering this.

  11. Another great video. I knew how some of these were connected, but some I guess I missed the relevant shards and missed the connection some of these had to each other or the wider world. Great work.

Don't think you've done this idea yet, but if you have or already thought of it, disregard. But I was thinking a video where you talk about the various romance options and their related quests, and rank them would be fun and interesting. Mostly just to hear your thoughts and opinions on them. Always a fun topic of discussion.

  12. id like to think everyone has a different thing to get them back from going cyberpsycho like love would work for them or help maybe but not for others clearly cause people have killed loved ones and what not. helps me think that there can be better endings to some stories

  13. 600hrs I've spent in the game, and still you surprise me with so many connection between all the events in night city that I've missed. gonna appreciate all these even more on my 8th playthrough, thx 🙂

  14. It seems to me that your more detailed findings may support the idea that there actually isn't any such thing as cyberpychosis, at least not as a singular disorder. While Cyberware is a contributing factor in all cases, it seems to me like most of these poor folks are simply suffering good old human mental health problems within a system that does not value a person without Cyberware & would rather look for an excuse to euthanize the mentally ill than attempt to help them. Cyberware installation is inherently traumatic, and having your body slowly (or especially rapidly or involuntarily) turned into a weapon seems like something most people wouldn't handle well. Some people like David Martinez use cyberware as a coping mechanism to feel stronger than their trauma. The really exceptional cases are the ones like the blood ritual where we glimpse what seems to happen when a human mind touches an AI, but that may also be the person experiencing a total break from reality in response to an extreme trauma.

  15. I have found best way to deal with all these is use of System Reset quick hack. Non-lethal for Regina's bonus and if you can use it, it's one hit and done. Another route I took was to use Skippy in Puppy Loving mode and sometimes, the non-lethal baton.

  16. OOHHHHHHHH, the gig “phantom of night city” is a reference to ghost of Tsushima, specifically a reference to a quest line in which one of your companions (a monk trained for battle named Norio) loses it after his brother is very painfully killed and massacres a bunch of the people responsible. I believe he also missed his brothers funeral because he was out massacring.

  17. Cool compilation, thanks 🙂 In the end you mentioned the reward from Regina. I never thought that, as they are remodeling how armor works in Phantom Liberty (or is it patch 1.7), they need to evaluate all and every weapon, and armor in the base game also, including these rewards. Massive job for the developers 🙂

  18. What if cyber psychosis isn't a psychosis at all, but in fact the result of various rogue AIs leaking through the black wall and attempting to target individuals they deem vulnerable through their implants in order to procure physical bodies for themselves. This connects with Regina's statement that there have been a recent uptick in cyber psycho reports, and the meddling of groups like the voodoo boys who are also, coincidentally, beginning to explore and contacts entites such as Alt in the old net. This may also be why V is relatively resistant to cyber psychosis, due to being in relative harmony with Johnny's digital engram, and why its only after V themselves becomes an engram at mikoshi, Mr. Blue Eyes decides to make contact with them.

  19. Great video, though i cant stop wondering why does this corp(or AI?) Work with maelstrom specifically? From maelstrom side it cant be just about cash so why?

  20. Thanks for finding all these connections. Though I do try to read all the lore when doing these missions, often they're so far apart in both location and when I tackle them that I don't make the connections between them.

  21. Would love your take on the Peralez/Lillith/FF-06/etc mystery, very much looking forward to it. When you investigate for that vid, be sure to check above Sandra Dorsett's desk in her bedroom, there are some interesting news articles and medical records on a conspiracy bulletin board, and some other weird pieces of info I could not find any connecting info on myself or see anyone talking about very much.
