Maybe im just meet more native americans and understand the style but i dont know how people didnt know the ALDACADOS are native… the name is the first hint. very native style naming in general. second, the style. not sure how nobody picked up on that. Absolute no brainer to me. Being nomads shouldve been the biggest clue imo, natives were known for moving around a lot aka nomadic. Whether it was by unfortunate force or internal/ external conflict. Am i really the only one?

  2. anyone else having their weapon attachments (scopes and silencers) getting bumped down in quality after major cutscenes and scripted interactions (like bossfights, scene switches etc)? i had a gold XC-10 Cestus gold and after such a transition it suddenly was white… same for several other scopes and silencer i had sloted in weapons i had with me -.- also seems the golden XC-10 Cestus is bugged, as its now (after last update) sporting the same "150% stealth dmg, +10% damage reduction" we see on the other XC-10 silencer at purple quality… the Cestus used to have +10% crit chance beforehand, and the purple still does, but the golden quality ones dont… plus i havent come accross a single golden scope or silencer lately, all El Capitan gives me is golden Ricochet muzzles, and i have brought him a ton of cars already, got min 5 cars with 100% discount so its sus i dont get any golden silencers imo…

  3. I'd like to see the "Weapon Display Wall/Stash" finally work correctly. This is ridiculous. It worked better a month after launch than it does now and it is infuriating…well as much as a nuisance can be infuriating I guess. K, so mildly but constantly annoying. Like a headache.

    I'd also like to see a way to stop the constant traces. We used to be able to hack silently whenever we wanted, only having to worry about alarms. Then they changed it to require sonic shock or memory wipe. Now we can use a combat hack on an enemy 3 floors down on the other side of the building and if ANY of the bad guys have cyberware we are getting traced while we can't pinpoint an enemy netrunner regardless of hacks used without visually scanning them (and even then they have to be tagged with either a name or ability that denotes them as a netrunner, while they have ESP?). Annoying.

    Also, I understand why they cut down the player selling price of quickhacks, but this is ridiculous. 8K-25K for tier 5 quickhacks is quite a bit considering how early you can craft them, but 100-500 or whatever ridiculously low number they sell for now is a bit outrageous too. If a quickhack costs, say 50K, then it should sell for 5K or so. Yes, it is an easy way to make money, but you should also have to build into it. It's not like you can just click on the craft legendary quickhacks ability at level 6. Idk, it is just way to nerfed now imo.

    The teleporting cars in races also needs to be fixed. I don't see ANY improvement. If I use the "Hoon," "Javelina," "Caliburn" or "Outlaw" there is no way that I should keep having to use an E-Brake hack on a car with a top speed of 110 which takes literally 10 seconds+ on a straightaway to reach said MPH. I jam py brakes on, cut the wheel to take a corner, and I can see the dots appear 3 meters behind me then smash into my side as I'm hitting the gas to finish my drift. It's literally easier to use a slow vehicle then just use the E-brake hack a few hundred meters before the finish line on whatever cars are ahead of you. Stupid.

    I don't mean to sound harsh, as the improvements to the game have been huge, but there are still a handful of minor annoyances that have stuck around for a long, long time. I also really wish they would get this next patch out so I can mod my damn game. I am so tired of having to use up 1/12th of my monthly data cap clean installing the game because I used a mod that was not compatible with changes a patch makes, or I do something really nuts like, oh idk, turn on Ray Reconstruction and turn off one of the RT options (I believe RT Reflections is the culprit in this case) or set something to a setting it randomly decides it doesn't like, thereby making it impossible to start the bleep bleep bleepin' game. Sometimes editing an .json file will work, sometimes it won't, and yikes is it a bugger to find them on GoG for some reason (Steam seems to be pretty easy, but it isn't in the same folder when installed via GoG for some reason…I won't get into that as I suppose that is a GoG problem as opposed to a Cyberpunk one). They could fix the darn conflict though. That'd be nice.

The first time when saw River back in the day he struck me as a Native American even the clues in his story the cop thing given that the NCPD have corruption within the brass and he doesn't want to fall into it but I am sure he would handle himself but its his past that is complicated and has been known to attempt to kill rather than just let the past be the past the guy can lookout for himself he has an interesting and harsh past which make you think how the hell did he survive at that word is family. But his introduction in his quest is really good and brutal that's Night City for you. It's a can't ignore a set of quests with River Ward for sure. As for River I'm sure is a Native American name.

    Panam too but her Nomad background makes no sense. Curious.

  5. I had the invisible partner bug happen to me and I had no idea why nor how to solve it. I was about to give up and just avoid the mission not to break immersiveness. However, it was solved instantly after I removed all appearance and clothes replacement mods. I stayed away from those mods (for NPCs, not for V) and it hasn't happened ever since.
    But there are also sound issues, invincible NPCs issues, game fps drop after returning from main menu issues, savegame breaking issues… Just today I had an issue where I couldn't read shards or text messages and couldn't complete any NCPD Organized Crime gig – the green icon would remain there even after I killed everyone and/or read the shard required. I reloaded many saves before that point and had to go back to my 12th previous save to solve it… It was frustrating, to say the least. And this happened on a different PC, clean installation, new start, with no mods.

  6. Yeah…no more guessing about when an update will arrive…it's pretty much useless. I think Steam/CDPR would be doing us a big favour to actually announce when they were going to release an update, if only 24-48 hours before.

    River and Panam being Native Americans? I'd like to think that in another 2-3 generations, ethnicity was less of a big deal, but whatever. River's feather pendant gave a tiny indication of this, but I saw nothing in his sister's home that signalled anything about it. It was apparent to me that Panam was 'mixed race' [to the extent that means anything] but otherwise, again no clue. Fun fact: Depending on their ancestral regions, native Americans can look quite different, and there's already plenty of 'race mixing'.

On XBX there’s a huge bug that doesn’t allow you to upgrade any of your cyber ware or iconic weapons to tier 5 ++, and I’ve never even seen him mention this, this also has apparently been around since 2.0 and has not been fixed yet, does he just not care about xbx, or has it just been swept under the radar
