Despite the controversy regarding the release of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red feel “quite happy” about the game’s stability after the latest patch.

Despite the fact that CD Projekt Red’s hotly-anticipated sci-fi RPG has become synonymous with shaky releases and fan disappointments, Cyberpunk 2077 is still a fun experience and the numerous updates coming thick and fast means the game is close to being fully playable. In fact, even Microsoft have said it will stop offering Xbox refunds because the game is being fixed all the time. Now it seems that the game’s developer is also satisfied that the game is close to being the finished product, six months on.

Speaking to TVN24 recently, CD Projekt Red joint-CEO, Adam Kiciński, has said that he is “pleased” with the current state Cyberpunk 2077 is in, despite the issues the game has been having since day one. Speaking to the Polish business website, he said that while he is satisfied that things are moving in the right direction and the open world IP is now in a more stable position, the studio is still working tirelessly to patch the game to make sure stability and overall performance are a priority.

As many may already be aware, the game has received a slew of updates since being released last December. The most recent Cyberpunk patch is a continuation of these efforts, which addresses a series of issues related to quests, visuals and a cavalcade of bugs that have seen players become frustrated. Many of the issues have fallen on the console versions of the game and have made it almost unplayable for many, who have encountered problem after problem, which has seemingly turned CDPR’s game into a meme. 1. Console performance has been improved by culling most of the population of Night City. I think by the next patch we'll be down to just the cameo characters of those influencers who plugged the game pre-release. Meanwhile on ALL platforms driving, police AI and cyber implants remain fundamentally broken despite the code being more patch than game at this point.

  2. agreed. i initially defended this game but now i’m just out of this completely. purchased it to replace d2 but it’s a no go.

this game is total trash. not sure how or why they thought this would be alright.

  3. I haven't played it since the first month it was out so I don't have any opinion on it's current state . But I had a lot of criticism for the game and over all I wasn't happy with it . Even tho it had some great moments in it . With the canceling of multiplayer and shady behavior of CDPR I don't see me going back to it or buying their future releases . Mainly I'm disgusted with how they treated mike pondsmith's ip with this game .
