  1. Im using a r7 3700x but I have to turn settings a bit down to medium and some low to get similar framerates, its my understanding that its not significantly weaker than the 5600x. Wondering if something is amiss or if my gpu is being used properly.

  2. I use a 4K TV with interpolation setting to bump up to 120fps so i'm looking for that sweet spot where i can lock it at 60FPS native without it dipping lower than that for 99% of the experience.

What i'm getting from this is that Ray tracing is extremely greedy & doesn't even make it look much better so i'm thinking Ultra setting (minus anti aliasing), 4k, DLSS on, RTX off.

  3. Even the 3070 can't do 1080p@60 with all raytracing bells and whistles. Just assembled a new system. I see dips in populated areas. Cpu is beefy too a 3800x, latest patch jarring experience tbh shitty optimization

  4. If I get this card Im probably playing in a mix of high/highest settings at 1440p except for a few on Low (Fog volumetric density and NPCs in bg), this alone will give you an extra 10-15fps.
But to see this GPU pull a consistent 65fps avg on Max at 1440p is impressive.

  5. Just got my rtx 3070 asus tuf oc , was bummed I couldn't get a 3080 at first, but now watching these and seeing it can play max ray tracing with full DLSS on the most intensive games at 1440p? I'm glad I got this now. Can't wait to do my new build with Ryzen 7 5800x.

  6. I still dont get why would anyone buy expensive high end video card like GTX3070 and not be able to play at max quality on 4K monitor with ray tracing and NOT get at least 60FPS..
ow yes, for that you need to shell out 3$K 😀
no way in hell i would buy this crap.

as my current GTX1080 does just fine on 2K gaming monitor and without any ray tracing crap 100FPS on all games.

if you buy a new technology and pay so much it at least should give you some benefit.
without going 4K and using the same reason they advertised the cards (ray tracing) there is no point getting this card in first place, as for 2K monitors any other card will do.

  7. my 3070 zotac holoblack gets better frames by about 4-5 in every test. People are saying the MSI cards are really shoddy and poor. My card never dips down below 20 even on 4k psycho quality unless you shake the mouse. Sorry mate.

im getting 50-60 fps 4k psycho performance. not less than 40. I dont know why your render is so poor. This misrepresents what my experience has been with the 3070.

EDIT: OH! This video was made before the huge update. Processing is a lot better in this game now. 3070 can absolutely play 4k psycho performance 51-60fps and even balanced if you dont mind 35-40 fps. Personally I only use performance but reflection quality is definitely worse between balanced down to performance.

You should come back and remake this video with the new soft updates! It will blow peoples minds.

  8. nice vid dude, im using a gigabyte 3070 and a r7 3700x, was there anything else you did to achieve high fps, im trying the raytracing + performance and i get half the fps you get

  9. I'm running a rtx 3070 on a i7 4790, not usre if the cpu is bottlenecking but I can't run 60 fps on 1080p dlss quality and rtx psycho like you do on the video. I'm also forced to use vsync 60 to avoid screen tearing, I have a 144hz 1080p monitor. :C I can run rdr2 flawlessly but Cyberpunk does give me problems, If I'm to upgrade my cpu then I need to upgrade my motherboard too. which is why I benchmarked i7 4790 with newer intel's don't really see much of a difference for lots of generations, I could consider ryzen, but I want to make sure if it's that, or may be the motherboard z97 pro gamer (Asus) or may e I need to weak something. Hope some can help me out. Thanks!

  11. Im running an i5 9600k OC at 4.9Ghz, Asus tuf Rtx 3070 OC. 32GB Ram 2666mhz, M.2 seagate SSD. With all settings maxed, no dlss, 1080p, a steady 40-50 fps on average. Very playable. With no Ray Tracing, fps is steady 70fps.

  12. not much of a difference (maybe 10 frames)with ray tracing off compared to my 2070 but the ray tracing difference is huge. over all an upgrade and a welcomed one. Especially how intense cyberpunk is on graphic cards.

  13. really wish they would sort out the weird flashing lights that happen when using dlss. still, for what it is, you can't complain. great technology. I just thought my card was artifacting when it started to happen
