  1. Gotta say, it really speaks to how big a technological leap this generation of cards is. Makes me super excited for this next generation of games. It might not seem like much but the addition of ray tracing lighting technology adds incredible levels of depth and immersion to game environments.

  2. yea there is quite a big difference when the patch is applied. Got the same card and have twice the amount of framerates with RT at psycho settings and a higher resolution!

  3. And I'm rocking a used 2080 ti getting 65FPS at 1440p ultra settings RT on. People said get a 3060ti, umm for a 50% reduction in performance and at double the price of these scalped cards? No thanks. I'll wait until the day either the 3080 is readily available or a next gen card family is released.

  4. Kind of aggravates me that these cards are basically giving the same performance within their tier from previous geberations, yet have MSRP'S that are DOUBLE. Even if valuing RT and DLSS, this should be no more than a $300 card… But nope.

  5. 3060ti 40 fps with raytracing with DLSS enabled? Crap. We are not there yet. Well at least not so far as 1440P is concerned. But we are getting there. I bet next gen after this one is much better.

  6. Just wondering if I should go for 3060 ti, only thing that bothers me is the VRAM as I can see it already gets near 8GB on 1440p which I'll be using with DLSS. Any opinions? I only play single player games so ultra-high 60fps is alright although my dumbass got a 144Hz monitor which I really didn't need as I don't play competitive. Would 6700xt be a better choice?
