Looks amazing, can't wait to get 24 FPS on my RTX 3050 with DLSS Performance 😂
Thanks for this video! And glad to see you reach 3.6k subs!
The performance loss is definitely not worth it for path tracing in my opinion. Maybe after a couple more generations of graphics cards. Nice comparison.
Not worth for performance hit.. RTX4090 only good for 50fps with 4K DLSS Quality + Frame Generation vs Psycho RT with same setting 100fps.
My 4070 Ti gets wrecked in 3440×1440. Getting around 60-70~ fps WITH Frame Generation enabled. Not playable due the low baseline fps and high inputlag.
When I enable Path Tracing all the other ray tracing options disappear, while yours still stay as a option, strange.
This gen is like the Turing of Path Tracing. It runs reasonably well but nothing special.
Nowadays Turing gpus cant handle more than 720-960p internal resolution when running high RT workloads, it's required to tune the load down, for what the architecture can do.
Ada already needs sub 1080p resolutions and frame gen and bla bla bla to get decent framerates. And there're people telling me that this isnt meant for future hardware lmao.
Make video also with 3060 at 1080p with dlss quality
can you do the same test but in 1440p?
Damn it looks amazing
I recently upgraded to a 4090 and a 5800x3D and play on WQHD and DLSS quality mode. I have around 140 FPS constant with Pathed Raytracing (around 200 with normal Raytracing). It looks great, but there is a lot of flickering in the world in random spots, so I hope they will fix this soon.
Awsome video, thanks !
Bro can you make with rtx 3060 pls? thanks for all videos.
With DLSS Balanced or Performance + Frame Generation, you should have decent fps on 4080 with Path Tracing.
All that hype and it actually looks worse in many scenes. Tested it on my 3080FE and I prefer the standard RT mode or even the Raster mode for the framerate benefit.
guide how to 100 fps easy drop
@ 0:45, path tracing kills the mood, rtx and no rtx looks so much better
Path tracing almost looks like ray tracing, but with a hint of HERE'S MORE BLINDING LIGHTS!! kinda look.
Great comparison!
Path tracing IS ray tracing. Great comparison tho!
with ray tracing native of game and rtgi reshade have a same thing.
I’m playing on a 4090 and I am just blown away by the difference. It gives everything a depth that just wasn’t there before. It helps take a way a big chunk of that uncanny feeling that even the Psycho RT couldn’t do.
Path tracing does look better than ray tracing, but it's not by a huge amount. Normal ray tracing does the bulk of photorealism over traditional rendering already, so path tracing is basically just there to clean up less polished areas. It doesn't seem worth the performance hit at all.
All this much of raytracing is bullshit and I turn it off completely even with a RTX 4090! There's no sense for me to play with RT on and does affect the gameplay only in one way: bad.
It only slowes down the gameplay and while you're playing you won't see any difference when you haven't two displays comparing to each other. The whole thing with raytracing is just a big marketing hype to sell the overpriced RTX cards. Never again I will go again with this hype. I go back to AMD 🎉
👍for your time and work.
Now 30 series old and you have to buy 40 series for this tech but with dlss3
Path Tracing looks like a CGI 3D render
in a couple of years a 300$ console would do this XD
It's seems Nvidia is created path to sell its upcoming gpus at more monstorus price.. So the name path tracing.. 😂😂
Nice one 🙂 Good job. You got a new sub 😁
Awesome video, thanks! Can you please tell me the name of the track? It's so beautiful.
Who need this shit 😂? No thx!
I cannot wait for this to become the new standard
I ended up getting 63ish fps (rtx4080) with dlss3 quality /ultra/ high mix settings. I'm at 5120×1440 tho so not the full 4k… Graphics are insane… I get reflections of reflections while looking into water.
I play with DLSS 2+3 Overdrive on RTX 4080 at 60-70 FPS on 4K TV
Where is this spot on the map @1:00?
The picture reminds me of 2008's Fallout 3. Looks quite the same
