  1. This is not how this was supposed to go down. It's legit saddening to see all of this play out.

  2. It's playable for me on PC at 70 FPS in quad HD. I've encountered bugs and dumb AI, but I'll play through once, wait for patches/content updates, and play through again with different types of characters. Overall, I"m happy with the game. I know CDPR will fix the game and add lots of cool shit to it.

  3. "day zero patch" is a phrase i still can't believe that gamers tolerate/find acceptable. back in my day, games launched finished. nowadays, AAA companies layoff QC teams and let you pay to test their games. it's like one of those old "in soviet russia, _ ___s you!" jokes

  4. So basically they are giving refunds just like you would refund any other game… im laughing at all the people who said they "care" because they give refunds… lmao. They don't. These fanboys spare no time to defend this company… they will become worse than EA, mark my words. That's what happen to all big companies eventually. They are getting too big to give a shit about the individual consumer everything becomes a statistic for them. CDPR is nothing special anymore, their character is skin-deep just like the beauty of this game.

  5. “Appreciate it if you give us a chance”… you had 8 years for a chance, thats why alot of the gameplay mechanics are outdated, its like filming a movie in 1982 and wondering why 1990 audiences arent feelin it.

  6. UK games shops not giving refunds are open tobeing taken to court

"In the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides that any digital content purchased by consumers must be (1) of satisfactory quality, (2) fit for a particular purpose, and (3) as described by the seller. If the digital content does not meet this criteria, the customer is entitled to a repair or replacement – for example, a patch – or, failing that (i.e. where repair is impossible or unsuccessful, takes unreasonably long, would be significantly inconvenient or disproportionate in cost), a refund. However, consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are against the seller, rather than the publisher or manufacturer necessarily."

  7. People sent these mf death threats when they needed more time. Busted balls over them working on it longer now people wanna put them on blast. I get it not being in the best shape and being angry ive run into my fare share of dumbshit but it hasnt stopped me for enjoying the game and on Xbox One X it feels and runs fine and only have had 2 crashes per session vs 15 pre patch. The game is amazing narrative wise and the characterss and missions are awesome. Just take the good in something and have hope theyll fix the bad.

  8. It's so sad to see some of these images and I must've gotten super lucky because I'm playing on a PS4 Slim and I've never once run across visual issues that were even close to that broken. I feel for anyone that has or does though. I've even had a couple friends watch me play for a couple hours and they decided to go pick up a copy. I hope theirs luck's out like I have.

  9. There's a saying over here that goes "It takes a lifetime to build trust and one second to break it." or something to that effect. Solely the fact that gamers now know for sure CDPR isn't necessarily above the dirties practices in the industry is a huge blow for them in the long run.

  10. It was a mistake for CDPR to put Cyberpunk 2077 on the last gen consoles. That being said Sony's (and consoles in general) refund policy has always been garbage, even after Steam pushed them to open up the refunds it still isn't nearly enough.

  11. The ironic part for me to this is still how it seems to run more well on the PC for most despite how much different hardware it can have, yet a console with ONE setup is too much to fixate on. I say it again, they should have delayed the Consoles at least but Christmas is coming so who fucking cares, they need to increase the sales, they are still a company. Instead of you know NOT release it on the older consoles at all if the hardware is not enough.

I mean I not enjoy graphic stuff, I enjoy gameplay and story, with at least decent graphic, but people not get enough and drool over the Unreal Engine release and similar and then still get surprised if it not shows how it could be. What did people expect? On PC at least in most cases you can tune it down yourself, so it runs more smoothly, consoles, not so much apparently.

Consoles are glorified PC's today sadly, nothing unique nothing sticking out anymore that in my eyes not makes it worth to buy one for me today anymore. I like old consoles, put game in, play, now you have to wait installing and downloading, day one patch and what not like on a PC, so why is Console a thing still? Nothing stops me to just keep my old PC like a console to play older games and be cheaper than any console can be.

Consoles, at least today, are over prized garbage, fight me, they are the 3DO, Virtual Boy, Sega CD, etc. of our generation. I still enjoy my PS2 more than any of those new consoles honestly.

They can be as good they want, their actions showed, and I feel sorry for the employees and the ones making these decisions should be fired and carry the costs for fixing his mess.

Before anyone says btw, PC also has its problems, especially AAA titles, this garbage pushing and selling, pre-order and what not needs to stop in general.

  12. Clearly a lot of people bought too far in to the hype surrounding this game. Hype will always be nonsense until proven otherwise. Being easy to manipulate is probably our biggest flaw as an animal species.

  13. Honestly what did console players expect, they are demanding a flawless massive game to run on hardware that was frankly outdated already upon release in 2013.

The mistake CDPR made was catering to console users in the first place they should stick to PC exclusive, games are always ruined by game devs dumbing down and simplifying their games to cater to consoles.

  14. I feel bad for all the angry customers fighting for a refund and I would be too.
I guess I'm lucky cause I haven't bought it on release because I was broke at the time, any how I wish you all the best.

  15. A lot can change in the next 3-4 months. What a depressing launch, especially considering I am enjoying the game on Series X. But this can be made right. Unfortunately, some people will probably never return too see that happen.

  16. Still like it tho…
At least the game is buggy and I don't have to be worry about other players exploiting them or hacking making it less enjoyable….
Ign: please don't play on last gen…
    Gamer: fuckin scalpers…
