Cyberpunk 2077 in 2024, what’s it like? Undoubtedly you’ve heard about the terrible launch and all the game breaking bugs, particularly on last gen machines. You’re also probably aware of the missing features that were promoted leading up to the game’s release. You might be aware that the game has received tons of updates, including the highly praised Phantom Liberty expansion. What you may not be aware of is, after all of the above, what it plays like today.
Cyberpunk 2077 is not without problems. It’s still easy to find bugs and other technical issues, but
in spite of this, it’s hugely entertaining. So in this re-review, I wanna discuss how it has evolved over time, what it’s like to play in its final form, the issues that remain, because yes, perfectly optimised this is not, and if it is, in fact… finally ready.

Always a good day when you wake up to a GoukiGod review!
OBS loves to change my canvas size randomly. I think it's a bug with capturing a video source, because it doesn't seem to do it with just display capture.
Here are those UI analysis videos I created for Cyberpunk
General UI analysis https://youtu.be/vgcMH_q23Vg
Map specific analysis (patch 1.5) https://youtu.be/IoDh9J5o92g
It’s still missing everything they promised. And it’s not the most fluid gameplay. But I’ll be damned if they didn’t make the most beautiful open world ever. Sure it’s window dressing but. No other game has ever made me mod it in vr. Just to drive around and learn the roads organically. To soak in every flash of neon and shadows from the towering megabuildings. It’s something I want Cdpr to expand upon. And not ditch for the sequel.
Great video
I remember watching your UX/UI breakdown and thinking "I really hope they don't skip this part when they go back to the drawing board". It's good to hear they didn't. I expected a positive re-review but didn't expect "best game I played this year" thrown in there. That is some high praise! I was planning on giving it a shot at some point, but now I want to play it sooner.
It's funny: when you edited the video the PS5 Pro didn't exist and now, after its official announcement, for me, that thing still doesn't exist. 😁
This game is so good now
It's insanely good now. I am so enchanted by this world now that I have it all locked in with mods, etc.
No problems on the PC, at least on my PC. And many PC gamers said back then, that they had no issues…
Due to the way CDPR launched this game, I will wait for awhile until it is on sale for at least 75% off before I buy this game. They lied to millions of gamers when they launched this game. When their CEO said it “runs fine on the PS4”. Shameful.
This is the absolute best game that I´ve played in my whole life
