  1. You really are doing an outstanding job on this game. Honestly, that’s unsurprising because all of your material is first-rate.
I love your work. You are one of the great hidden gems of YouTube. I look forward to watching this channel grow.

  2. The story walks a careful path between making Songbird a sympathetic character and a dangerous, out-of-control human weapon. It makes later decisions very difficult. Those mini-trucks were the first thing I saw in the PL upgrade that told me I wasn't in Kansas any more, so to speak. The rewards for completing El Capitans car missions are crazy! Those missions do lead to something worthwhile. V and Alex getting together 'for a drink' was the biggest tease in PL. I thought for sure there was going to be a bit of romance smuggled into the game…but no… The way the scene ends so abruptly makes me wonder if there wasn't some secret resolution we had to unlock, but so far, no news of that. 'How many fingers am I holding up?'…this is one of the best, most unexpected jokes in PL. I wish Reed had flashed a bit of humour in there…the role is disappointingly one-note. Idris Elba was wasted in the role, IMO. But then I'm not really a fan of 'name' actors doing video game roles.

  3. The boy to whom you gave money for help will not spend it on video games, but on BD. Or to buy a gun. In NC conditions, children who spend money on new games would be considered very polite and a role model for others.
It's a bit of a shame that the quests can't be combined – i.e. V together with Songberg steal a car, drive it to Alex and have such a party that Reed has to come immediately to calm down 3 completely drunk and brawling girls. And at the end Johnny states that even he could distinguish when it's time to party and when it's time for duties.
This combined quest opens up an additional ending: under the influence of high alcohol concentration, Relic loses its functions and stops overwriting V's mind. From then on, she lives happily ever after together with Johnny in her head. And the only thing she has to worry about is River getting angry for choosing Judy 🙂

  4. I feel that I need to warn You a bit V-Jesika.

You are moving very fast with this Phantom Liberty main quest and You may finish game before doing so many quests from the main game and also from expansion. All depending on Your choices of course. Just a friendly heads up. 😉

  5. Reed is a fun character, but he is a bit more nuanced than "being loyal to the NUSA". I don't want to spoil it, but he only opens up in 1 of 4 endings. (this is hte reason why I advised creating a hard save at "firestarter")

  6. Well, it seems like the meeting with So Mi went as she planned, it took a sweet talk to "V's" ear and she was dancing in her hand, nice.

OMG if Alex had lived in 2024, she would have changed her mind about acting and musicals after watching Joker 2 movie 😂

So far I "trust" Reed, I mean he saved So Mi, gave her a chance in life even if in an odd way for the job he got to her, but that's the only life he knows, so it was something to be expected I guess. On the other hand, So Mi seems like an ungrateful bratty girl betraying him. What makes this all difficult is that it's the spy world, everyone is bound to betray at some point.

Nice, I cannot wait to see the last concert of Samurai, I hope everything goes well because I recently became a fan of them 😅

  7. You're right you know. I can't think of a single game where the protagonist was able to dance non awfully.

From the EGA flailing of Westland in Codename: ICEMAN, the Heroic Mushroom Disco in Quest for Glory, the Shepard Shuffle, the Fledgling Flail in VTMB, the protagonist of Sid Meier's Pirates with the bad dancing minigame, and this. I can't think of a single one.

I suppose the Orz in Star Control 2 might be an exception, but when they say dancing they mean killing you.

  8. Reed and songbird are easily some of the best written characters in this game I love that everyone in this dlc is manipulative to an extent it makes them feel so much more competent and realistic
