I tried to do this but ended up coming with the eddies after the operation and before the Arazaka heist.
I also did this, because I had the Eddies and Vik at first glance was a real one, and then later on, he's one of the nicest guys in all of Night City.
Some of the last chats with Vik really almost made me cry…how he tries to save you but literally can do nothing but tell you your times up…do what a legend must do 😣 felt like an absolute NC LEGEND having this guy back me up

I actually did it on my very first playthrough. The first thing I did, once I got control in the open world, was to make accessible sidequests. It was difficult, but I managed to accumulate the required amount pretty quickly (i didn't know what i will need to pay him). The only disappointment is that despite the fact that I paid Victor immediately, the line of dialogue did not disappear later and I managed to pay him twice
I usually to the 2nd part grind to pay him after the op and I also grind to make for the Bot as well
I was disappointed. I figured at least some speech or something. Maybe even a discount. Nothing.
I kind of like the fact he doesn't comment on the upfront payment, it was never about the eddies for him. he just wanted to see V sucking air for a little longer like a real choom! The pops we never had

I never heard his English voice kinda nice how similar he sounds to his German version. Still i like the German Fem V voice more, she has a rougher edge allmost like the English RenFemShep.
Actually, according to CDPR, most people do pay Viktor back, so I wouldn't say that part was rare dialogue.
They added dialog to the early payment? I paid Vik a few times but he never said anything, so I gave up on doing it.
Viktor really doesn't have enough dialog. He was literally the coolest dude next to your dead bestie and you hardly talk to him throughout the game.
Think I've waited long enough… might just be time to play this.

Vik is literally one if my favorite characters in the game, nay the the Cyberpunk universe. There's just something so endearing about a ripperdoc who genuenly cares about his customers' wellbeing and the fact that he asks you how you're doing before doing any business is just wholesome on top.
