CD reds actions leading up to the release of cyberpunk shows full well thar they knew the condition of the game and are only now crying wolf because their actions blew up in their face big time in my opinion they deserve whatever sanctions or penalties applied to them so that any other game company will think twice before relesing a game in such a bad state again as sometimes an example has to be made when companies go to far
My series X version crashed before I left the garage on nomad playthrough…
So I'm tired of all the people shitting on basic business practices. One people forgot about all the differences PS2 games and xbox 360 games. Just looking at the hardware difference between the base consoles and the upgraded models are they are borderline different consoles. The base consoles can't even really do true HDR. Two the fact that such a small company while not being able to even have daily quality checks that are being streamed to home PC's. Businesses never admit fault because it opens them up to bs lawsuits they are trying their best during a pandemic and during a holiday release window. The company probably would have taken a bigger financial hit delaying the game then releasing.
If this game had come out with all the features and gameplay expected, the buggy shit could have been acceptable because we'd have a great game that can be fixed, not ideal. I dont think they have any intention of making meaningful improvements to this game they'll fix the bugs then make us wait for big next gen update and paid dlc before anything meaningful, total loss of respect.
I'm so glad no one fell for it. Also, how do they keep making this worse? Despite how flawed the game is, they could've easily bounced back. They're Bethesda-ing this right now and that's insane considering how admired they were by the community. Bethesda was always just one game away from a mess, but CDPR just, and I repeat, just, came off of one of the most flawless RPG games ever made. How?!
The cyberpunk community is full of weirdos the boat has sailed on this title unless they strip out the story beats. Which won’t happy. Let the PC modders their fill
I will play this game in 2022 I still have it in the plastic package..
Lately I seen KCD videos about consoles and I loved the part when they said "well the good thinks about consoles is that it requires us to optimalize a lot the PC version as the console is ported. So in the end the game runs smoothly on all systems" … I would say it also lags like hell at few particular places but… They were honest about the state of the game, problems and thinks they had to remove and… well… now they have HC fans 😀
While he said something he said even less and that part said it all.
Even the most potato of QA teams would've caught those bugs on PC and console. I'd guess that QA/Devs told management hell no to shipping and managements response was "we luv our stockholders long time".
Remember when hello games just shut up and fixed their game ? I member
People forget that the time it took to make a message or statement was slowed by the fact that Corona is slowing down all forms of interaction including their personal response. People need to suck it up, that interactions are slowed down during this time.
Honestly don't understand what the problem is. I love the game, and honestly think it was in better shape, on release than some of the games released in later years by much bigger companies. My only real peeve was that the main source of the lag and glitches is coming from trying to run an entire world per player. I'd have rather had a huge map split into 4 or 5, for lag. I'd have much rather lost loot and run into repetition, than a system that remembers your individual progress per area/region. Doesn't seem like an awesome way of using my hardware.
god damn so much drama, cdpr this cdpr that…
I found the apology as a standup tying to do. It didn’t fail me, a CyberPunk2077 PS4 player.
I thought CDPR was the only AAA developper I could trust, turns out you can't trust any of them
They should've just shelved the console versions to a later date. PC version was good out of the gate, outside of the bugs. So, I'm not mad and don't need an apology. Game is good.
It's funny these people never did the same when fallout 76 came out, not one rep from that company apologized and they kept releasing new microtransactions and "membership" yearly crap at a crazy price instead of fixing their game. And yet nobody adressed this, except for a few youtubers making fun of the whole thing. Same for Anthem, SW Battlefront 2, AC Odissey, all these games with shameless microtransactions, all these people did was complain for a few days then forgot about it. The hypocrisy is pathetic XD
The dlc's need to be big for this game! Ive played it through twice and im over it. Its almost like half the game isnt there or theyve taken half away to make into dlc's which best be free, no one should have to pay for any add ons to this game after its shocking release
I accept there apology. I love the game.
My God people will cry about anything….
Thay must make pc games that run on 4gig graphics cards to we all don't have R12,000 for graphics cards
Showing one disgruntled review of an apology video is not a backfire. That is some random dude's opinion. I get that you need to create content, and that negative press draws people in, but don't spin it like this is the overwhelming consensus.
I hate PC games you can't play on Maximum

Give David Guetta a chance people are like children
at least CDPR said sorry and said its their fault, did EA, Bethesda or any other company that released a bad game do that? No, so i think its a lot better than most companies, still need to prove what they said to gain our trust again through.
Also Theory about the 'PS4 ran pretty well' some people that was using PS4 (mostly Pro), including our PS4Pro, said they never ran into any issues or at least not as much as the rest anyways, so maybe its random? could of actually fixed it to their view point plus it could of even been them testing on the Pro and not on the Base PS4 as they thought. The Game also had a catch two, people might complain if they reduce the quality for the Lower base consoles though then they get backlash for 'poor graphics' so they got themselves stuck on a promise they either break or keep, they decided to keep the promise but got backlash because it made the game run badly, and in return, that caused bugs and bad reviews.
Played Game since release on the Geforce Now Service and i never really ran into many 'game breaking' issues, saw bugs but things like small objects in the air is not game breaking, we also got it for PS4 Pro and while it was worse than the GeForce (PC) version it never got any of the bugs that was reported, the sound bugs (where the gun goes silent) is a regular bug we got though.
As a gamer, placing blame on QA never crossed my mind. Hmmm… The way I see it, it could be true that only few of the bugs showed up on CDPRs end. I read a lot of comments from CP2077 articles where people who played the game only experienced minimal amount of bugs, and some, you can just count by a pair of hand. Anyway, this is only my opinion. I guess I'm lucky I'm one of those who experienced minimal bugs.
It really was a piss poor apology
QA is used to being blamed for bugs and bad releases. Burn us QA people once or twice and we learn to come back with when we reported issues and if/when they were ignored or played down. I'm almost certain the QA people got receipts.
Im honestly super tired of the " sorry " i just dont want my game crashing, glitching and lagging anymore
