  1. I played about 3 hours with patch 1.04 and it crashed 2 times. Played 5-7 yesterday with patch 1.05 and didn’t crash at all and the combat is much smoother. Still very noticeable frame rate drops in a lot of places but when you’ve been following a game for close to 10 years I can live with that for now. Eventually when I could find a PS5 I’m sure it’ll be running 100% by then.

  2. My guess is that Cd project red will lower the overall quality of game to mantain steady framerate and playability. I dont expect a graphic overhaul. They will make the game playable, functional(less crashes and bugs) BUT IT WILL BE AN UGLY GAME, compared to pc and next gen. The same exact thing happened to Watchdogs 1, Wolfenstein The New Order, Crysis, battlefield hardline, battlefield4 on 360 and ps3. All of them playable but UGLY. I hope they prove me wrong, like rockstar did with gtaV on old gen, delivering a really optimized game.

  3. Some may say this is a harsh approach but lets face it: Cyberpunk 2077 graphical technology is not well-suited for old PS4. It uses tons of space-screen reflections which are known for causing insane fps drops (one of the reasons why Mass Effect Andromeda used to be a pain in the ass as well); in addition, soft, dynamically renderred shadows, tons of objects and structures to render and calculate according to shading processes.

CP2077 should've been downgraded and optimized properly for PS4. It's better to run the game while having less shading fidelity and overall lighting precision, instead of having such technology and "enjoying" it in ~25 fps.

  4. CDPR seems to be watching these videos and fixing bugs accordingly. It seems like everyone has been showcasing pop in and general free roam stability. Y’all should be showing specifically how the ai reacts during sandboxing so they can focus on those bugs and make the gameplay experience more natural than just pretty.
