Given the multitude of upcoming CD Projekt Red games, it’s no surprise that Phantom Liberty is the sole planned expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. The studio seems to be fully committed to this expansion, with its captivating spy-thriller narrative and the addition of a densely packed new area in Night City for players to explore. However, what truly excites me about returning to this RPG is the extensive improvements that CD Projekt Red has made over the past two years. With Phantom Liberty introducing significant enhancements to fundamental gameplay elements, it’s high time for the studio to provide the much-needed polish that the game deserves.

  1. Looks awesome, can't wait! However the stupidly high system specs for high/ultra, even for 1080p are disconcerting. Recommended to have NVME and a cpu that was released a couple of months back? How unoptimized is it? A regular SSD and NVME have no real discernible differences when it comes to gaming. 1 to 2 second improved load times? Maybe, depending on game engine, 2-4% extra fps? Better off just getting better ram or a cpu for improved gains beyond that.

  2. i would have never thought that's Idris Elba was the best part of the DLC. It could have been any custom npc and it would have the same effect

  4. I liked the base game a lot even with its flaws so I'm pretty sure I'm going to like Phantom Liberty a lot since it's going to be very similar but probably just better in every aspect since they worked on it for almost 3 years
