I demand justice for A750/A770 adopters 🙂
Ofc thanks for a review!
Man. What did they do to the game to make it more powerful?
Im going to struggle with my ryzen 7 5800x3d and RX 6950 XT
@HardwareUnboxed You didn't use the Game Ready Driver for AMD GPUs, which is 23.9.3 and not 23.9.2.
Is it a better experience playing at 126fps ultra raster native 1440p Vs the DF ray tracing enabled optimised settings at 55fps? Using a 7900 xtx with 7800x3d.
pure power is always better, if games that support rtx are not contracted with nvidia, the results will not make such a difference either
Medium settings are way more useful test than ultra. Ultra is just stupid and exists only to sell more GPUs, and especially when games are so heavy like this, more fps than you get on ultra is needed.
Why is 4K Ultra even an option in the game when the fastest and strongest cards available cant handle it
I hate DLSS and FSR. Frame generation sucs. I newer turn on RT
Greetings From INDIA.
where's the perf/$ chart??
I use Intel Xess 'Quality' mode in Cyberpunk. It gives my 7800xt great fps boost in RT and upscale quality on par with DLSS 2.0 quality.
Much better than FSR 2.0
this is seriously one of the best tech benchmarking channels that exists on youtube. easy to read info, easy to listen to narrator. everything is so well done. thankyou !
I wish that DLSS 3.5 could be enabled without also turning on path tracing. Just heard on the Digital Foundry 130 podcast that CDPR is working on that.
I was thinking about running the game at 4k on my RTX 3080 10GB, but it looks like I will have a better experience at 1440p.
Thank you for the video!
Having watched numerous of your GPU benchmark vids, I see a trend, not 100% but near enough. In your results 4K gaming just isn't feasible unless you have a flagship GPU and even then you're not certain even that will handle it. So why would you put out soooo much cash for a system with a top end card and then spend $1000 or $1500 on a 4K monitor and only be able to watch media. I will admit I did pay over $1000 on the wife's monitor 🙂 though it's a 65" 4k Samsung TV, not OLED. 4K gaming right now is just too close to the sun Icarus.
7800xt very impressive
No nitpicking, just advice – if you write more detail on what preset you used and write "RT off", this info will be visible in every frame of your video, not just in the moment you say it.
For someone who only has a RTX 2060. What would be my optimal settings so that the game would be somehow beautiful and playable at the same time?
Is HUB gonna do a best settings guide for 2.0?
where is frame generation? you kiding? i got 4070 and play 1440p with fg & rt, looks awesome
although they keep saying don't use DLSS at 1080p meanwhile I play at 1080p on a 55 in TV everything maxed including rt and path tracing with DLSS quality on and it's an amazing experience…I'm convinced these people are hardware nerds not gamers
Appreciate the work yall do!
Would have loved to see the results for rt overdrive on 1440p
Okay, so my 2060 Super is no longer on these lists…
I think I may actually have to upgrade, lol.
I know this is super annoying but today AMD released game ready drivers for this game. (Sep 26)
FSR and XeSS definitely seem to be underperforming on my 7800 xt in this game as well. FSR quality provides a decent uplift, not that I would use anything lower. XeSS ultra quality lowers my FPS, and quality renders at about native frame rate.
On my 300-12gb at 1440p, using the tweaked ini files on nexus mods that lowers the number of ray bounces from 2 to 1, using DLSS 3.5 + ray reconstruction, and DLSS Q i can get 53 on the in game benchmark, and it looks really good. Lows are around 45, highs 63.
Didnt start the game yet but in the benchmark on my overclocked 6800(2550mhz, 2150mhz memory) on ultra native gets 82fps on the in game benchmark, 98 with fsr quality, pretty good so far I'll see tomorrow in actual gameplay
On Asus 4070ti 1440p DLSS B, RR/FG all high! Path ray 90- 120fps. Looks amazing and works smooth. It's a single player I don't need responsibility as competitive titles.
I'm playing on a 3060ti @ 4K Quality DLSS. Forget the Ray Tracing gimmick meant for 4090s.
3080 12gb?
Still love these thumbnails.
If I wait until my next upgrade cycle, I won't have to play at 15fps…
AMD didn't release fsr 3 in time; they really got to get a move on
This video makes me feel a little bit better with the gpu choice I ultimately settled on, which was a 4070 ti, mind you on labor day weekend I just upgraded my roughly 12 year old PC that has a i7-980 with a gtx 780 ti 3GB.
I was eyeing that 4080, but $300-$400 extra (especially when the $809 for the 4070 ti was already hard to swallow) was too difficult to justify. Of course in a world where nvidia weren't pricing savages, the 4080 would at most be a $800 card, if not still much lower.
on my RTX 3090 Asus Rog stix card on 2k with ray tracing ultra and pat tracing dlss on performance 45-65 fps
My msi trio 2080ti on 140 mhz overclock is still slaying. Love this card. Best card I ever had
RTX 3090 and 150 fps, very nice…
I'd like to see an inclusion of steam deck in performance benchmarks at least for lower settings as a point of comparison.
Thing to mention though, you won't see these FPS on lower end CPUs (that means even R5 5600 etc. now) since the game got more demanding and HWU are testing with one of the best CPU possible.
I'm happy to finally have a game that uses my 4090 lol
And new driver released for amd rdna2 performance up by 6-10% so this results unvalid
I can barely keep my 5700XT from cooking with Cyberpunk with all the settings turned down its GPU temp hovers at 75 degress. I kinda of wished it would be around 60.
What settings do you guys recommend . Runnind 3080 .
Ultra without Raytracing
Medium with Raytracing
DLSS ?!
Cant decide wich gpu i wanna buy 7900xt 4070ti 4070 …. for an 1440p build i really want the more vram but also dlss and better ray tracing peformance
Как мне надоели такие сухие тесты и цифры!!! Показывайте реальный геймплей с реальным FPS!!!
3090 here. Path Tracing with Ray Reconstruction doesn't look good. In still images, maybe, but for anything moving, it looks horrendous. All vehicle tyres have an awful black smear line coming from them as though you are playing on the world's worst VA black smearing panel. All NPC have this terrible multilayer ghosting smear on any part of them that moves. It's super ugly and distracting. In fact, the whole world has this sort of slow catch-up smear on it. For decent frame rates you are forced to use DLSS of course but the auto recommended setting is Performance and it makes the whole game look even more smeared, anything at even a moderate distance is blurry and that is using 4k as the starting resolution. Any DLSS higher results in unplayable frame rates. The same is true for just the standard Ray Tracing settings. DLSS Performance is ugly. It looks like 720p on a 1080p screen. If you want a decent frame rate, you have to start turning things off, which negates the point of even having Ray Tracing on. Maybe if you just turn on Reflections, you can have some pretty puddles, but in all honesty, a higher refresh rate looks better, so Ultra/High with Ray Tracing off and DLSS Quality seems it for me which makes the whole RTX thing sorta pointless.
told you guys
Top tip for 1080p & 1440p gamers – use a combination of DLSS and VSR to upscale to a higher resolution than your monitor. It works incredibly well, yielding improved image clarity AND better performance.
has anyone else noticed that PowerColor 7800 gpu's suddenly disapeared pretty much everywhere as far as I can tell?
Newegg no longer lists them. they have powercolor 7700 and 7900 gpu's but zero 7800's. walmart is the same. does anyone know why thats happening?
I'd be interested to see how cyberpunk 2077 with the newest update scales with 8 cores vs 6 cores since the devs said with the 2.0 update expect 8 core CPUs to have 90 percent utilization.
