  1. This story and ending was extremely emotional for me and I can't get my mind off it. I'm very glad I chose to save So Mi, especially seeing the Reed ending with all her memories and her pleading to die over being tortured by the NUSA. She didnt deserve that or to be a puppet forced to lose herself in the Blackwall. V was delt bad by Dex, but So Mi's torture was on another level and her wings were clipped, she couldn't fly. Like V, she was dying and was short on time, and her having a chance at survival is the better ending to me. V still has hope through Panam or Mr. Blue Eyes to survive, if this ending is anything to go by. Mr. Blue Eyes got So Mi the ticket to Tycho and is present in the facility, and is present standing on the rooftop with a umbrella during the train station fight. If anything, this makes the Crystal Palace ending a lot more canonical than any of the others to me. I naturally chose the ending with the Aldecaldos, but maybe in my current new playthrough I will trust him instead to stick with So Mi.

Its nice to know that she survived and is living safe on Tycho city. She contacts V later telling them to go to the "place that reminded her of home" where a Tycho City pin and her Cyberdeck are stored away. Not only has this DLC been fun but it shows that not only Arasaka or Mikoshi can help V and that makes their story feel a lot more hopeful than just walking off with no chrome after surviving a two year coma and losing everyone, or potentially dying within six months.

Whatever comes next, I hope we see more of So Mi and Mr. Blue Eyes, or a reference to what happens to V in Cyberpunk Orion hopefully.

  2. After Playing the vanilla game, watching Edgerunners and playing the dlc i have come to the conclusion that this genre doesnt suit me at all. I dont mind the hardships in between but fuck dude just give us one happy ever after ending

  3. The game eschews traditional "good" or "bad" endings for two unique branches: "Bittersweet" and "Realistic," each with minor variations. The Bittersweet ending imparts a positive feel, whereas the Realistic one provides additional backstory. A particular choice in both routes unlocks a new main ending with an unexpected twist.

Having played both paths, the Realistic one is not only shorter and significantly tougher, complete with a couple jump-scares, but it also enriches So Mi and Reed's relationship backstory. This added context makes it worth experiencing firsthand, or you can catch it on YouTube.

  4. I disagree that this is the good ending. In the world of Cyberpunk when V gets to actually live and that’s what we’re fighting for. There’s soon many ways V can get a new body transplant. So I don’t get the wanting to side with a girl who’s willing to kill a crap ton of people to save her own skin. Meanwhile V is told by rouge he/she is a living legend already at the end of the credits. Upon that you have NuSa contacts and pull now. So getting a new body isn’t outside the possibility.

Not sorry to say we were looking to save V’s life. Nothing more. V literally beat death. Living Legend and you’re a fool otherwise.

  5. This really is the good ending despite the somewhat tragic way Reed's story concludes.

I couldn't bring myself to kill her in the Cynosure ending and otherwise I think any ending where the FIA 'saves' Songbird and cures V is more heartbreaking than anything else in this game, at least with this ending you get the realization that Songbird finally got free and as V you still have the option to pursue the various Mikoshi based endings.

  7. All those endings are subjective. For me "the secret one" was the Good Ending, because it was the way I wanted to End adveture with CP77 definitely, especialy that this ending was ending enitre story. So yeah there's few endings, but like I've said, subjective for everyone.
