Why is everybody saying steam deck cant run triple A games?

Had a month playing with 3.7 on LCD and it was an absolute blast. Overall better performance and literally no crashes in comparison to 3.5. However, I had a lot of bugs including the CPU temp showing 0 on the gamescope, joystick mouse not working, and having a hard time shutting down/booting up. Does this happen on OLED version too?
Shame Phantom Liberty doesn't run as well as the main game. Devs should go back and do a steam deck optimization patch for Phantom Liberty.
