1. IMPORTANT-KEEP CYBERWARE CAPACITY BELOW 450/Dumpster Problem/Bag Will Despawn

Important Try and keep your Cyberware Capacity below 450. It will stop the Edgerunners Perk working and there is a bug which can stop your Cyberware from being removed or buy and sell Cyberware and fill the guide below at section 8 for quick viewing.

Glitched Bags They do not stay in place and if you fast travel away from the area and return the container will either be full and cannot be used again or only a second or third body can be placed but the bag will be gone.

Dumpsters do not reset the max I have managed to get in a dumpster is 3 bodies. Focus on areas around the Grand Imperial Mall Area which has loads of dumpster/containers and fridges! Give other areas a go and see what happens but for me it is not consistent in other areas like Watson.

2.WHY Location Matters

Location is Key I get asked this a lot. Why do you capture gameplay in the Pacifica area at the Grand Imperial Mall and beach area close to the gun store and west wind apartments?

It seems that since 2.0 with Dogtown added close by the area is very buggy and you will see bags or weapons for no reason bounce in the air and I think all the containers in this area and Dogtown have a higher chance to get these glitches working.

3.What Level Do 1-5 Tier Items Drop?

What level do tier items drop? Tier 1-3 items will drop as soon as level 1-20, *Tier 4 items I managed to find these from level 20 and Tier 5 items from level 35-60.

Always Save The Game Before You Dump The Body So You Can Try Again. The Success rate for most players to do this glitch the first time is 10% so this can take some time to work if you have never done the glitch before

Jumping Vs Car/Bike Method If you are low level you will not be able to jump higher with a body you will need level 20 in body with the savage sling perk. Look down at the dumpster/container and when you jump press the dump prompt as fast as possible and the bag should float in the air.

4 Money Shard Method

Money Shards It is best to only have the Money Shard on the person. You then want to press the jump button, then the dump button fast to dump the body and climb on the dumpster and the shard in the bag should glitch. To know the shard has glitched is when the bag does not vanish from the screen. You can then run away till the bag is off the screen and return to duplicate the money shard again.

If you struggle just jumping and dumping the body use a car or bike to jump onto and then dump the body which might be easier for you.

5.Skill Shard Method

Skill Shards which is the same as the money shards , It is best to only have the skill Shard on the person. You then want to press the jump button, then the dump button fast to dump the body and climb on the dumpster and the shard in the bag should glitch. To know the shard has glitched is when the bag does not vanish from the screen. You can then run away till the bag is off the screen and return to duplicate the money shard again.

If you struggle when jumping and dumping the body, use a car or bike to jump onto and then dump the body which might be easier for you.

6.UNLIMITED COMPONENTS METHOD

Tier 5 Weapons For Unlimited Crafting Components It is best to have a body with the weapon of choice and a second or third item. You want to dump the body by jumping, then instantly pressing the dump button command to dump the body and the bag will float. Next take the second and third item only and turn and face the floating bag. Travel backwards until the bag disappears from the screen and then return to see if the one or two items are back. If they return, grab all three items and the bag should stay floating.

This is important now, the Tier 5 weapon can downgrade to a tier 1 item. So repeat above by facing the bag and always return as soon as the bag disappears off screen and return so the weapon does not downgrade but try the skill/money shard method also.

7.Cyberware Capacity Glitch & Fixes

Cyberware Capacity Shards Same as the tier 5 method in a way. Try and have a couple of items on the body and dump the body. Only remove the item or items from the body and not the shard. You do not need to worry about downgrading here and just run a short distance away. I would say double the distance as the Tier 5 way. So when the bag disappears from the screen just travel back a bit more and return. You could always try the money shard way by dumping quickly which you can see in my other videos in the pinned comment

Note Cyberware Shards are capped at 80 capacity so once you get 14 Tier 2 green shards (28 capacity), 8 Tier 3 Blue Shards ( 24 Capacity) 4 Tier 4 Purple Shards (16 Capacity) 2 Tier 5 Orange/Legendary Shards (12 Capacity). If you do not have phantom liberty your level will be level 50 instead of level 60 and you will miss out on 7 Tier 2 Green shards (14 Capacity) & 4 Blue Tier 3 Shards (12 Capacity) so that means you miss out on (26 Capacity)

Capped Capacity Depending On IF YOU Have Phantom Liberty OR Not
-You start with 24 Cyberware Capacity at the start of the game.
-You get another 3 Capacity per level (59 Levels) 177 Extra Capacity when you hit level 60
-As Mentioned above you get 80 Capacity From Shards
-Engineer skill progression gives another 15 Capacity
-Tech tree perks give up to 70 Capacity.
-Chrome Compressor fully upgraded gives you another 70 Capacity but the trade off is that you lose your cyberdeck or sandevistan.

With Chrome Compressor You Can Get – 436. It was 408 but with the 2.1 update it is now 436.
Without Chrome Compressor You Can Get – 366 shards dropping. This is why most players get close to 330-360.
Without Phantom Liberty & Chrome Compressor Which Is A Phantom Liberty Item– 340 is the cap without exploits or getting lucky with additional shards popping up.

8.Cyberware Issue Not Being Able To Remove Cyberware/Buy Or Sell? (Capacity Bar Gone?))

You will have to do this every time until there is a fix at the ripper doc each time you need to change your cyberware.

On PS5- If you select one of the cyberware, can be any of the ones you have equipped, and then press L1 and R1 as quickly as you can it usually Works in 1-2 tries every time. Just try not to spam too fast or you’ll miss it working and have to do it again to get the cyberware capacity bar back.

Also try Pressing RS followers by L2 and then R2 you just need to be patient it should work.

On Xbox – Hover over your arm cyberware, hit RS, LB, RB (tab, 1,3 PC) in a slow and controlled fashion. Can take up to ten minutes but be patient.

PC- For PC I found it works most reliably by pressing TAB on your arm cyberware (it'll bring up a blank 'wardrobe' screen for some reason), then press 1 then 3 fast so you cycle to the trade screen then back to the cyberware screen. Hopefully you'll have the bar on the left, if not, exit out of the menu and talk to the ripper again and try again.

for the cyberware glitch where you have to scroll through tabs, i always switched my game to performance mode and switch it back real quick, and then it works within 3-5 try’s 90% of the time

On Xbox and I already put my cyberware capacity up to 500 as I was unaware of the exact nature of the glitch.. don't run edgerunner as I think its a pointless perk if you have enough capacity as the low fury chance isn't worth the health cost which also effectively nerfs your heal on kill implant as its a % (if you're running this).. so I didn't care, now, today I got the very annoying glitch where I can't remove/edit my implants at the doc and the bar disappears when I upgraded my cyberware to 447 equipped.. I reloaded the old save and tested some stuff and found I did not get the glitch at 440 cyberware which is prob my pref build anyway.. I equipped this and have had no issues since after many more saves and load ins.. maybe I will still glitch eventually but so far so good, I would just advise people to watch out for this when cranking up your chrome to these levels and test where the limit is before you glitch out if you're gonna go there.

If you don’t want this annoying glitch to happen just do the fix method and then you can just remove enough cyberware to get to 250 capacity and you’ll be fine, now just choose less cyberware and you’ll
Be good, you won’t be Abel to activate the edgerunner perk but meh

We really do need a way to get rid of our cyberware capacity
