  1. If you get to a five star police chase the police AI turn into GODS! Any vehicle you get into is tracked and eventually hacked by Maxtac to stop and blow up! You cannot escape!

  2. Day one player.
Played for month, but never finished game, was messing with "gigs", at the end got bored and started playing something else, later uninstalled game, maybe will try again.

  3. im eternally disappointed they went with level based combat system. they already had the perfect blueprint for simulated combat system, what i mean by that is instead of enemies having a hp bar with 1000 health they have "parts" of their body which when hit with a bullet will either completely destroy that body part or "damage" it.

for example, right now if you shoot an enemy in the arm they take 100 damage and now have 900 hp. this is the same if you shoot them anywhere even the head they will just lose a little more hp but with the combat system i wish they went for, instead of taking 100 damage when shot in the arm their arm could break or be shot off depending on the caliber/type of the weapon you used.

not to mention since this whole world is kind of based around modifiying your body you can imagine stronger enemies in the later parts of the game having synthetic skin, bones, brains, etc. that would require the player to enhance their own body or get higher tech weapons/bullets in order to fight them effectively rather than just finding a level 40 pistol to fight level 40 enemies. i think this would have elevated the game to another level.

  4. Seeing as the NPCs overheat hack was OP anyway and CDPR recommend starting a new play through. Do we know what level you have to be or how many skill points you have to invest , so V can buy some anti hack cyber ware,
Or will V be constantly Overheat hacked all the way through early game??

  5. One thing that boggles my mind – why aren't there better weapon animations?

They made a button to use 1st-time flourishes at will which is brilliant. Silverhand has great animations with his pistol. Katana deflect looks great.

But that's it, in a game with a LOT of weapons. CDPR missed a beat with how kinesthetic gunplay could be

  6. This is great. Game is 110% in a better position now. Skills have meaning, cops and other people have a brain. I found myself playing all weekend.

I've been critical about this game and I'm not forgetting what we got at first. We're never getting the time back wasted in bugs and performance issues. But it's now a full game and I can recommend it without caveats. But don't forget what they tried to sell.

Things I'm still missing is more interaction with the world. This will most likely never happen in this game, except perhaps in the DLC content. Still haven't seen anyone else ride a motorcycle. Seems like a small thing but it really bothers me with all the cool bikes that only V can ride.

Clothes and armor… Man it feels like a huge chunk of the game was pulled out. It is well compensates in the skills and cyberwear, which are really great and new body mods are very welcome. But clothes… Really my straw hat blocks bullets as much as a combat helmet?

  7. my experience form 1.2 to going back and checking 1.5 felt like those big patch for early access game milestones, 2.0 is official release.
wild they didnt offer the dlc for free like NMS, but i guess cause its an "expansion"?

  8. its wild that most mechanics were overhauls of the cut content which exist inside the game like police system, car chases, and etc which modders pointed out and brought back as mods; 2.0 does the same what modders does but with large overhaul and not relying on ingame files.
