Cyberpunk 2077 PC Review – The Way It's Meant To Be Experienced

In conclusion, Cyberpunk 2077 on PC has some visible flaws. Its poor implementation of law enforcement, inconsistent quality of side missions, and a somewhat weird crafting system are definite flaws. However, those flaws feel obscure and very minor in the grand scheme of things.

An excellent and well-designed world, superb storytelling, great soundtrack, plenty of options to approach a mission, excellent graphics, and some of the best combat mechanics of the year make Cyberpunk 2077 a must play for every open world fan. This game is no Witcher 3- but it doesn’t need to be, because most of the things it tries to do, it does them with great aplomb. Cyberpunk 2077 on the PC is an experience that is, simply put, unmissable.

  1. NOTE: Given the major differences in the PC and console builds of Cyberpunk 2077 and the experiences they offer, we thought it would be best to go live with two reviews, one for each version. Each of our reviews is separate, written by different authors, and with a different perspective on the game, so opinions on some things may vary.

  2. You guys need to play Cyberpunk 2077 the way it was meant to be played. You can do this by powering up your PS4 or Xbox One and inserting the Deus Ex Mankind Divided installation disc, HAVE A GREAT DAY!

  3. It's an incredible game despite being so incredibly buggy and having a few weird design choices. If they can fix some of the glaring flaws and bugs, it's honestly a GOTY contender. One of the best games I've played in a long time.

  4. A few bugs? The first 2 hours of the game I encountered so many I had to refund. I am using a 1080ti machine like you mentioned. The Visuals are just blurry and bad and texture pop in is real. The audio glitch that sounds like a vinyl record popping in the background was a nice touch to my experience as well. Also the VERY first mission where I got to shoot out of the vehicle the AI just straight didnt shoot and looked at me. It was quite the hilarious bug. I am refunded for now until this dumpster fire is fixed. It has potential.

  5. THIS IS WHY PC IS THE ONLY WAY TO PLAY GAMES!…lol…1080ti running it perfectly 👌…. Stop buying consoles for 5 to 6 hundred. Save up and build a pc. You'll never look back

  6. 2077 has no enthralling tales… They are fast and disjointed. The stories end before you even get to know the character. Everything is rushed. Also Vs personality is a trope. Its borderline awful and hes dumb as bricks.

The writing was atrocious and nothing in line with the witcher series.

Also reeves' performance was average at best and in some instances just bad. Maybe its the writing but reeves is overrated.

    This review is horrendous.

  7. I tempered my expectations and approached it similar to a Fallout or Elder Scrolls game. Got some mods running immediately and applied reshade before playing. The frames can be choppy while driving and I have seen some minor bugs. However, so far reloading saves has fixed any issues I've had.

This is easily one of my new favorite games.

  8. Lowkey wildhunt sucked for pc, why do they bring it up like its a stepping stone. Its a great game…..on console. The melee controls were about janky and receptive as Jar Jar in Episode 1.

  9. It runs infinitely better sure – but it's still a very average game imo. 6.5/10. "Character depth and exposition" – dude wtf you are meant to reviewing games not books! Get a grip man before your pretentious type totally kills gaming! Edit: I haven't actually played it but I don't need to.

  11. Did they try to use DirectX ray tracing on the GTX 1080 ti? I can’t understand how it’s possible that they got such a discrepancy in performance between that and the 2080 Super considering they’re almost the exact same performance (2080S is about 4-9% faster). Is it just that DLSS is that good?

  12. Not sure what version you played three months ago but the one I just tested for a couple hours in anticipation of the upcoming "major" patch had TONS of clear issues like static objects flying all over the place and NPCs t-posing constantly.

    Night city?

    More like Bug City.
