I think it was a big mistake releasing next gen in a pandemic. People can't buy consoles, pc parts cost too much or they aren't even available and most of the next gen games are only half baked.
The fps must of been atrocious before the update if it's still this bad, 40-50fps at 1080 on LOW?! Holy fucking shit. Playing on high is like playing most games at 4k. I'll just keep waiting till I get a ps5, not gonna bother with this unoptimised dumpster fire.
