Which one would you choose between this X17, ASUS’s Zephyrus S17 QHD and Lenovo’s Legion QHD 16”? The Legion QHD’s 3080 has 16GB of DDR6 and it has Advanced Optimus so does the QHD model of the S17. Which is the best value after we factor in build quality, price and performance?
I don't know (or maybe m not aware) that why we're not talking abt the m15 r4 3070 more. That thing has. 140w 3070. Does it have heating issues? Maybe yhe gp66 will be better?

who cares about thin when it is heavy? and loud? just dont see the x line doing well when the legion 5p/7 controls temps good and a 3070 is SO great. the strix g17 is a better option for 17" notebook ….maybe a compare video?

May I rant for a moment? There is so much misinformation on the x17 having/not having optimus or having/not having a hardware mux not visible yet, it's driving me crazy and real disservice to buyers who simply want to know. I point the finger at dell marketing and social media reps and of course dell support (who have a rep for being completely unreliable). Don't understand why it's so complicated to document this. The user manual would be the best place imo. end of rant. thanks.
I have a question, I'm going to get the X17 with everything maxed out. I plan on using it purely for gaming only should I get the core I9 or the core i7? I heard the core I9 has heat issues. Would I regret going with core i7 in the long run? Thank you very much

hello gizmo couple of questions for you if you could answer that would be great
1. did your laptop have the cherry mx keyboard and if so would you recommend it?
2. with regards to processor my worry is the i9 over the i7 is that ive seen in some places that it runs hotter is it that much hotter that it would potentially affect the longevity of the laptop?
3. with regards to the screen choice can you for example run games in 1080p and 1440p on the 4k screen or is it limited to running on 2160p and given the choice if you were going to be playing strategy games and some fps games would you recommend the 360hz 1080p screen of the 4k 120hz screen?
4. just a more general temperature question would going for the 3070 instead of the 3080 affect the temperature at all

Would this configuration of the X17 be sufficient to properly run an ultrawide 1440 display at close to max settings? I understand that it wouldn't be well suited for high refresh AAA gaming or competitive shooters etc, but what about for open world games and MMOs?
Hello all, I purchased a Dell g15 (Ryzen 7 + RTX 3060) with the recent deal ($1099) and Dell cancelled it without any notification. They said that product has reached End of Life, which I don’t know what it even means. And they refuse to give any compensation after making me wait for more than a week. Now they won’t even give me the deal, and are forcing the expensive Alienwares on me. SHIT COMPANY.
