I wouldn't exactly characterize this progress as "playable" or "acceptable" though I'll admit the driving performance is a huge improvement from what I saw from launch. In most gunfights I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the frame rate still resembles a fucking roller coaster ride though. That is essentially what I'm seeing in this vid at least. Too many fluctuations between 20-30 and times where it basically just sits in the low 20s for awhile.
I'm gonna stick with the opinion that them not hitting rock solid 30fps in 90% of the game on console should have prevented them from even launching the game on last gen in the first place.
What about ps5 backwards version? Is it improved? Might redownload it again idk
after downloading this patch and update the game can we remove the downloaded patch files

i been playing cyberpunk 2077 since the release on my base ps4 and not seen any game breaking bugs just minor bugs that are funny, the frame rate drops never bugs me or any of other minor bugs i seen since i am still playing it today, it just suck they fix duplication glitch, good thing i still have 830 painting i can still sell
It's funny how I've constantly heard the game was unplayable, meanwhile I've been playing on the FIRST Xbox One for months. I've had three different 100+ hour saves and finished each ending at least twice. It's definitely improved though.
There are still plenty of places in the game where the framerate can barely get above 20fps on One S.
Maybe one more big patch and ill buy it…. This is progress tho thankfully 👍

Can we all just acknowledge that majority of games are broken/under-delivered at launch. i.e Destiny 2, Anthem, No Man Sky, Avengers, almost everything Ubisoft etc.
My series x version is awesome, I only had 1 crash my whole game. I had very little tiny bugs not major ones at all so I'm not complaining.
This game after the patch gave no problems on ps5. Actually got around to finishing the story and playing a few side quests after that. I really wish they would add some activities in the city and a few new animations. Id also love my guy just sitting in a stall or something and have an animation of him eating. Details like that is what they need to add.
Old gen not fixeble
Booted up the 1.2 update on my Xbox one s last night and WOW, the game now plays even worse than before: in stuttery slow motion with no sound. Not even playable now.

Playing Cyberpunk 2077 in Xbox One (base) and Ps4 (base) is like trying to play GTA 5 in Ps2
I'm not sure the lighting works as they intended or just another bug, it happens frequently to me on PC, sometimes the lights didn't render at all and I couldn't see anything, the game seems to get darker than before

Is this base ps4? How's ps4 pro? That's what I have and I know it was supposed to run a little better on pro but I was gifted cyberpunk for xmas and just stowed the game away when news broke of the bugs and frame rate. I still haven't even installed her.
It sucks so much to be an xbox owner. It really feels like I bet on the wrong horse and getting punished for it since years.
sadly the Gameplay of Cyberpunk is basic… the story is cut up in places… missing parts… that will never be fixed… in every aspect this game was rushed… they can ONLY make it better… but a great game… cyberpunk 2077 will never be.
In 2021 for me anything below 60 fps is unacceptable thats why i will wait for the next gen version on Ps5.
Thanks for doing this to help people like me still on base last gen consoles. May try it on Xbox One S as if no good can play it on Xbox Series X when I get one early next year with no additional charge. The AI and police systems still needs a major overhaul on all platforms.

I’m back in and there’s still a lot of glitches. The missions are still great though. The story is good for me. The open world is still a glitchy mess.
We pay 60$ for this shit… We dont want just playable game with textures loading after 3 min… we want more!!

This game is fundamentally broken, even if they fix all of the glitches and bugs and technical problems.. Just the way the NPC's act and the way the police respond, are two things that are dealbreakers for me.. I can go play dozens of other games that are better than Cyberpunk. You only have one life to live, why waste it playing a game like this

I think one more patch will keep the game at 27-30 FPS for base PS4 permanently.
