Hello everyone and welcome to my channel.
In today’s video, I am playing Cyberpunk 2077 yet again with the 1.2 Patch on Manjato Gnome at 1080p. The game feels smoother, especially driving around. Bugs are still present, but the experience is much better now with the latest patch.
In the video, I am using Digital Foundry’s optimized graphic settings.

  1. I know it must have been asked already but after 4 months since release I keep on getting the same crashes and don't know what to think.
I've had identical crashes with two systems (the first was i5 3570k + R9 290X and the second is a 3700X with a 5700 XT) and with both systems running the GOG version via Lutris and the Steam version.
Moreover, I've tried any possible combination of Proton, Wine, kernel, distro (but mostly manjaro), drivers etc.
The problem is, it keeps on crashing (mostly on the CDPR intro logo, but also while playing) and the GPUs shut down the fan, the screen goes black and I then get a lot of colourful artefacts, often with geometrical patterns.
Sorry for the dumb question, but I honestly haven't found a solution in 4 months and it's so weird that it's the same on two different machines that I bet I missed something.

  2. It worked about 2 months from the release date for me, but now I either can't start the game or it won't even reach the main menu 🙁 I have all the proper and up to date drivers, but nothing. I tried 5.13-6, 6.3-3 and experimental proton on steam. Only my kernel is 5.10.32 instead of your 5.11.10-1 or later. Do you think I just need to use the 5.11 kernel or re-install something? Thank you for the benchmarks and videos, love your work 🙂
