The performance is slightly better but it needs to get better. They've fixed some things and the game is better than before but there's a lot of bugs yet, wait for a few more patches if you want better performance. But if you want to play it now, I recommend High Settings, lock it at 30 and play with a controller.

medium totally playable for me with high textures even with 4gb 580
At low and average 50 fps with low being 40 is playable with mouse since the game looks good anyways if you are absessed with playing with a mouse and controller. Otherwise, It would be better to lock it to some lower fps and play with a controller. I was getting a stable 36 fps with medium high settings and it felt very smooth with a controller. Idk why but 36 feels a lot smoother than 30.

I can't understand how my rx 5500 xt performs the same or even worse than the rx 580 in the same game. Performance is supposed to be a little better. Any ideas? thanks for your answer.

I'm playing with this settings locked at 40/45 fps (with unlocked fps, at some parts of the map, can reach above 50 fps):
Contact Shadows: ON
Improved Facial Lighting Geometry: ON
Anisotropy: 16
Local Shadow Mesh Quality: HIGH
Local Shadow Quality HIGH (the gpu cost between them all is very flat so just go HIGH)
Cascaded Shadows Range: HIGH
Cascaded Shadows Resolution: MEDIUM (LOW can increase the performance a bit more)
Distant Shadows Resolution: HIGH
Volumetric Fog Resolution: MEDIUM
Volumetric Cloud Quality: MEDIUM (there is barely a difference)
Max Dynamic Decals: Ultra
Screen Space Reflections Quality: LOW (but turn off if you find the amount of grain distracting or just want a bit more fps)
Subsurface Scattering Quality: HIGH
Ambient Occlusion: LOW (there is barely a difference)
Colour Precision: MEDIUM (there is barely a difference)
Mirror Quality: HIGH (mirrors are very rare and you have low interactivity anyway so a lower frame rate in this parts doesn't bother too much, but of course, you can go with MEDIUM as well)
Level of Detail: HIGH
Crowd density: MEDIUM (HIGH is cool but sometimes feels a bit excessive. MEDIUM is the way to go for that extra FPS)

They should have just released the PC version and kept working on the console versions until the game was complete. It's more excusable on PC where you can be honest with the requirements (though they lied about those too…)
Base consoles will require an entirely different game, similar to how GTA 5 is barely the same on PS3.. You can't cut this down to vanilla XB1 level. It isn't possible.

Playing on an rx570 right now. Medium preset / 85 CAS / AMD image sharpening / on a 1440p monitor. Getting about 30-35 fps. 😅

Try it at 720p with higher settings -i'm on a 5 year old 390 and a 3 year old 1700 and runs fine at 720 or 1600/900 above 60fps but 390 reaching it's end life with this game lol
so it beats ps4 performance even at ultra xD happy with my 480. I clocked it to 1400 and i think it's neck and neck with the 580

Don't care how smooth the game runs.. I played cyberpunk for 30 min and uninstalled it.. this game is purely cosmetic, everything about this game is broken.. Being in the mood for an Open World game, I bought Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition on PC ($8.00)… this game is way more immersive!!!! I cannot put it down, the storyline in Sleeping Dogs probably has the best character development of any AAA title. Not even mad at cyberpunk for stealing $60 from me… bc it ultimately led me to Sleeping Dogs.

Tenho a RX 580 de 8GB e o Ryzen 5 1600AF, consigo rodar Cyberpunk no médio com 50-45 FPS, dá para rodar de boa! Tirando os bugs… Mas é uma pena ver o que está acontecendo com a CD, tomará que eles não fechem senão iremos ficar sem o retorno do Geralt.

its insane the RX580 is still a BEAST in 2020 and can perform Cyberpunk 2077 well in Medium with 33-35fps and other gpu´s like 2060 have 25fps on medium
Edit : i am talking about the 1% Low it dont say much about the graphicscards because the 2060 has 90-100fps on average but RX580 on medium with 40-45fps is a BEEAST for a graphics card from 2017
