  1. I use Quality Mode for now, i looks really better overall. 30fps Cap is OK when dont you should not change to Perfomance Mode for to long 😉 you cant go back to 30fps 😅
Lets hope the NextGen Upgrade comes soon for better Options

  2. Thanks for the video. Finally got my Series X and I thought that I was crazy when I really couldn't spot a difference between the 2 modes especially playing on my 4K LG CX. Imo, performance mode is a must. Playing an FPS at 30FPS is a no go for even as a competitive FPS PC player too.

  3. Performance mode looks much better to me on Series X. The extra frames really help smooth out the gameplay. This is especially noticeable in combat scenes. Quality mode has a better picture but not by much.

  4. Personally I play in quality mode.
Rock solid 30fps is more than ok, and the visuals in quality mode is the most impressive thing I have ever seen on a console to date.

  5. Does anyone else also have problems with stuttering in performance mode on series x while moving the camera in high density areas?
When i look at the ground while turning the camera it's gone… And in quality mode it's also fine.
    This makes me crazy.
Is it because of unstable frame rate? Or is it a bug? Or maybe a TV issue?
Playing on a Sony X900F… Anyone else playing on this TV?

  6. At 2:00, the corpse you inspect is covered up but I've seen in other clips the dissected body is visible. Is this a censorship option in the settings, or permanent based on where the game is sold?

  7. I’ll share my thoughts (playing on XSX and a 77” OLED).

    1) HDR in this game might still be broken (see Vincent Teoh’s videos) but I actually enjoy it nevertheless.

    2) I was really baffled when I saw the performance mode for the first time. I expected a lot less defined image, a pretty blurry res but it turns out it looks almost as good as the quality mode. The difference is sometimes really difficult to spot.

    3) I kept switching back and forth between both modes. It’s funny because the quality mode somehow does look better but it’s hard to pinpoint the reason. It’s something with lighting which seems more realistic in this mode…

    4) If the P mode didn’t have FPS drops, I’d probably stick with it. It does, though, and they can be quite distracting. Maybe because I have no VRR on my 77G7… The Q mode is pretty much rock solid 30 FPS from what I can see so far.

Conclusion: it’s damn hard to decide which mode to stay with. So hard in fact that I’m beginning to think I should wait for the proper “next gen” version and play other games in the meantime 🙂 The big question however is what CDPR can do to make this version better. Judging from current performance, there doesn’t seem to be much headroom for RT or other improvements. BTW, the game has been running mostly flawlessly with no major bugs for me.

  8. 30fps should no longer be acceptable even on consoles. Perhaps if we're talking photorealistic ray tracing on Unreal 5 engine, it might be acceptable, but not here

  9. I notice no graphical difference with performance mode, like even if you go into camera mode and zoom into V’s clothing or eyes theres no noticeable difference. I will say the worlds a bit more empty but honestly it’s worth the 60 FPS

  10. I noticed alot of players have the same issue as me, but in quality mode when panning the camera the game feels very juddery.

It's not only with cyberpunk, but with Forza and AC Valhalla for example aswell.

Don't know if this is an Xbox thing or something cuz I have it on both my 1440p monitor as my 4k Samsung tv.
