FIX FOR PATCH 1.03 IS IN THE VIDEO.

I got a few comments regarding the non-AVX Intel CPU’s (such as Core i7 860, 870, 920, 950 and Xeon equivalents for LGA1366 and LGA1156 CPU’s)

LINK to the MOD: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/34

TEST SETUP:
Intel Core i7 860 (stock)
8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM
GTX 970 (stock)
Nvidia 460.79 driver
Windows 20H2 update
Game patch 1.03

I DO NOT take credit from this fix. i am just showing you how to use the software and include some gameplay before and after the fix.

I do not take responsibility for any wrongdoings or software related issues when using this software. it worked for me 100% but every system is different!

(and yes, you can see the guide to install it in the video while i was explaining it. you can just skip my voiceover if you prefer text based instructions in the video)

  2. My bro a quick question, if I can ask of course: I just saw the patch 1.04 is live (i still DO NOT have the game but will get it this week), does this exe patch still work even if we would install this patch? Thanks for the help, also I have subscribed.

  3. UPDATE:
The Patch 1.05 mentions it has "removed the use of AVX instruction set thus fixing crashes ocurring at the end of the Prologue on processors not supporting AVX".
I will be double-checking with a quick test with my i7 860 test setup to verify it. If anyone has had issues with the mod currently installed, remove it and verify your game files and let me know if you still have issues with the un-modded version. And also, please note if you are using the GOG or Steam version please!

I have left the 1.04 version in the description including download link and instructions in case you haven't updated or the 1.05 didn't fix the crashes for you.

  4. do I have to wait for the guy to update the mod because of the new update today ,when I tried to launch the load file it says it needs a newer version of the game to open the save file ??

  5. I did everything in the order instructed, but the original exe file's icon changes when I rename it, it doesn't stay the Cyberpunk Icon like yours.
The game fired up no problem, but when I went to create my character they were just a black silhouette, no detail etc. Pls help.

  6. I have a question. As this version of the game is modded, it is not recognized by Steam so will I keep my progress anyway ? Also at Christmas I'm going to have a newer Intel processor so I shouldn't have this problem anymore when I change my processor ? Thanks in advance for your future reply 🙂

  9. The game runs technically and does not crash but has a yellow pixelated screen and like texture arent loading or badly loading. writing on the screen is fine.

To explain better, I chose nomad, and apparently, after night city cutscene where it crashes, I get passed, and does not crash but literally cannot see the "car" you supposedly get into. just yellow pixels.

    would appreciate any help.

  10. That just didnt work for me !
    Same error again !

Gpu Crash for unknown reasons! Callstack here is probably irrelevant. Check if Breadcrumbs or Aftermath logged anything useful.

  11. I had to verify the integrity of game files once patch 1.05 was applied to the PC version today. Before doing this the game crashed once a save was loaded. Can confirm that patch 1.05 does indeed remove AVX instructions. If you are getting the same crash as me, please follow the above.

  12. I have followed all the steps, but when I enter the game after the loading screen the game goes black, I can see the minimap, the indicators and the menu but I cannot see the game. I tried to go to the point where the crush game following the minimap and actually the AVX fix solved the problem but created another one, namely the black screen. If you know how to fix it I'd like you to tell me. Thanks.

  14. Finally I tested on my old rig with i7 920 with Strix GTX970 with 8GB RAM, able to run at full 1080p sub 30 fps with medium and low settings. I am surprised the game looks almost as good as my PC with RTX 3080. Encountered some crashes, but far better experience than the base consoles.
