  1. While this game was good, I mean really good, it was fun.. this had turned out to be a huge slap to the face. I was hoping for more, and was hoping they would give this game more love. But its whatever, what's done is done. Still happy this game came out. Thanks for the video bro.

  2. But why did he say on Red Engine? The line was, "this will be the last update on Red Engine." Not, "this will be the last update for the game. He specifically states Red Engine, NOT Cyberpunk 2077.

  3. Not questioning your update reports, but CDPR really confirmed there will only be one expansion? Cause if it's really so, they might be inviting more rage from players as they did said they will support the game further. (Another broken promise)
And beside those who are only into shooter game, Cyberpunk 2077 sold well in the beginning was partly due to Witcher games fans (Fans who trusted CDPR).

Looking at current situation, Edgerunner might not be the one saving the game. (Lots of my friends watch Witcher series yet non of them wanna play the games)
Hope the expansion will save the game, maybe by then they might consider second expansion.

  4. I hope the expansion is set after the ending and just deals with the death of V. Set during the 6 months V has left and each different ending is like a different story, just to tie up loose ends. That of course would mean making multiple separate storylines for the different endings which is very unlikely, but I can still dream.

  5. I'm bummed about only one expansion but I'm more bummed about 1.6 being the last patch. As a console player 1.5 made me very hopeful with the addition of apartments, apt customization, character customization and some of the AI reworks. I thought maybe they would keep adding more and more to the game but it looks like that won't be the case. There's still so much missing like eating/drinking, police chases, taxis/motorcycles, shooting ranges, races, etc. 1.6 could be huge but with the amount of devs working on it, I doubt it. Theres literally more people working on Gwent. I'm excited for the expansion but I guess CP will never be much more than it is now..

  6. Will it be just one DLC then we have to wait for the official presentation. Today I received unconfirmed information that with patch 1.6, another 7 main missions will be added, as well as the fixers missions and NG+. This leak is about a character named SONGBIRD and this is supposed to be her story. Maybe patch 1.6 will be the equivalent of HEART OF STONE for The Witcher and they don't call it DLC. But the second big DLC will be something extra for 20 hours of play or more?

  7. Yet again, people are interpretating this news in the worst possible way.
This game just can't do anything right in people's eyes, even if it's actually something good.
Acting as if they know how big or good the expansion will be, or as if that's the only piece of content before or after the actual expansion.
Looks like this community is about to be a toxic trash fire like it was in the beginning.

  8. I don't think they actually meant this. The cdpr guy who gave the presentation was not a native English speaker. I hope he just misspoke, but you should take a look for yourself

  9. Well if the expansion stays as it is in the "leak"(which is basically just CDPR accidentally shipping all the quest dialogues for the expansion with the 1.5 game files, which was allegedly held back from leaking by the same dataminer who now released it out of spite for some kind of "mistreatment" by a CDPR affiliated discord mod) I cannot imagine the magnitude of the shitshow that is coming

  10. Cyberpunk 2077 didn't turn out so well because CDPR didn't switch to Unreal Engine a lot sooner. Personally, I'm disappointed with the news they're abandoning our cyberpunk dystopia and moving on to other projects.

I'll never overhype another game in my life again.

  11. Two words: MODDING. TOOLS. If they literally don't even give us that, I feel like game is going to die a painful death, and that won't bode well for CDPR's already damaged reputation I think.

  12. where did they confirm the first expansion being the final one? all the evidence of recent sales and the fact that they wish to keep the cyberpunk franchise going forward suggests otherwise. not to mention how the witcher games and their dlc's played out.

  13. I think this is what we should've expected. One good expansion (and full mod support) is all Cyberpunk 2077 needs. CDPR will halt Red engine's development (or never use it ever if Unreal 5 is better for them). So they got nothing to lose, only beneficial for them, if they let the community make mods and "fan expansions". I'm glad because if there's only one expansion the devs can 100% focus on that to make the game better.

  14. LMAO, I recall all the shills screaming "ThEy WiLl FIx tHe GaMe, aDd tHe mIsSing ConTent, anD kEep SuPpoRtIng CyBeRBug FOr mAnY YeArs!!" Turns out CDPR can't wait to drop this fucking mess as quickly as possible. One future expansion only, lol.

  15. I wish we could actually respawn at a hospital or something if we die in the open world instead of always loading from a last checkpoint like the game is one big mission

  16. The game is not bad. But compared to what was promised it is very underwhelming. So I expect nothing from the expansion. The graphics have improved, and there are less glitches: the game does look pretty. But the game itself is bland compared to TW3, and it will remain so, I'm afraid. I could be wrong, of course, but I really don't think there's anything they could add that would give the game any luster when it comes to the story and the world. To contrast, the original Gothic, despite being old, the graphics being very basic, and being a bit janky with its control scheme was a much more enjoyable experience for me: it filled me with wonder and excitement in a way this game didn't. This makes me a little sad.

  17. I’m happy as it is, possibly because I’m playing this for the first time on Series X, and the updates, things they offer. Enjoying the world, Romance & the extra stuff. So one expansion huh? Well I’m just happy to get something which is better than nothing. & you know what? Who knows what else is in store for us. I’m not behind closed doors where they have possibility idea. So it’s hopeful and I’m just going to continue to enjoy the ride. Thank you for this Intel.
I’m focused on enjoying & not complaining…I’ve seen ppl act radical. I’m ignoring those maelstrom fanatics 😂.

  18. Only one expansion is just another broken promise, but I can see their reasoning for it. Hell it’s taking them 3 years just to fix the base game let alone add on to it. Due to the circumstances I’m not surprised if we truly only get one expansion.

  19. I think people need to calm down, the investors call doesn't mean the end it just means after this game the cyberpunk genre will be moving over to unreal5 and lastly for expansions they're more than likely be working on 2 expansions mainly focusing on the first and seeing how that does in terms of it's release so don't worry folks.

  20. CALLED IT!!! knew they were only doing one expansion. They don’t want to deal with CP2077 and the old engine anymore. They are preparing to move on. So much for more expansions like the Witcher. Frankly if I see a sequel to the game I will buy it and it will the last thing I ever from this wretched company.

Say what you want, hell I hope you enjoy the game. This game will forever remain a disappointment for what we were expecting cus of what THEY SAID.

  21. So CDPR lied when they say "at least as many DLCs and expansions at the Witcher 3". I've been the biggest fan of promoting Cyberpunk 2077 to people but my faith is waining.

  22. 10 years ago when they announced the game my hype was off the charts. Then I understood the delays because "I knew" they wanted to deliver an outstanding product. Fast-forward to now and I don't really know where I am. For starters I don't wanna play the game until it's completely finished. I hope this is a lesson for managers to start listening to devs when they say it's not ready.

  23. Lol like I said after the first round of patches this game is DOA and CDPR is just trying to stall it out until Witcher 4 drops. I wonder how fanboys will damage control now after they argued up and down that there was no possible way there wouldn’t be multiple updates 😆

  24. Remember when they said expect nothing less than the witcher 3! They don't learn anything about marketing and just keep doubling down on lies about what's coming. .dam I'm tired of it and I support them through all the huge bullshit

  25. One expansion is understandable, but no less disappointing. I wouldn't mind so much if I knew that they were embarking immediately upon a proper sequel, but given how horribly mishandled this game has been, I'm not holding my breath.
