  1. I'm sure I'll buy this gamepack as soon as it releases, but I have a question: what if I want to use this with other games that support spatial audio (and I mean full 360 audio, with elevation and all), will it work? Or will I need to buy the subscription with the classic Hive software (which, to my knowledge and to my personal experience from before when I tried it, only uses up to 7.1 audio)? Thanks!

  2. They're talking a bunch of nonsense about an incredible technology and I'm not even specifically referring to the company EMBODY, but the knowledge that made this technology possible. You clearly haven't tested the software to be talking such nonsense like this. The phone is only needed during the initial setup to send information about the shape of your ear and generate YOUR ear's HRIR. Why? Because people have different ears, plain and simple, and this design in our ear directly influences how we perceive sound. Sound waves travel and bounce/reflect on this irregular surface before reaching our eardrum and being subsequently processed by our brain so we can perceive the sound source. With HRIR data, they create an exclusive HRTF model of your ear through physics calculations, a profile. The software, with this information about you, the type of headphones you're using, and the audio it will work with (hence the importance of the game DEV partnership), the position of your head (hence the webcam for head tracking) can simulate, modulating the audio frequencies as YOU would hear that sound if YOU were there… You may not use the camera, and if your headphones aren't on the list, you can use a universal model, it's the last one on the list (Other Headsets), you just need to say if it's open, closed, or in-ear. The more complete the setup, the better the experience will be… (listed headphones, correctly generated HRTF, webcam, and headphone mode set in the game sound settings). I'm playing without headtracking and the difference in sound in the game is incredible. You can turn it on and off in real-time to see. Pay attention before you criticize something without the slightest knowledge of what you're talking about, the internet already has too many foolish people, you might convince another with your stupid comment

  3. I love good audio, but this is insane, charging $27Aud for spacial audio on ONE game, where the audio is already great and has been out for 4 years. I just hope this is successful for you so that you can, one day, charge a one off payment for a library of games.

  4. Is this included in your immersive gaming Hive subscription or is it a separate purchase only? I want this but also want your Hive program for any game but getting both is rediculous.

  5. Is it also recommended to use it with really good speakers + subwoofer ? I have always preferred those over even the best headphones, for the way sounds feel more real when correctly used with space, especially when I can output great lows without becoming deaf lol
