  1. Never back down unless truly wrong. Certain people don’t accept apologies anymore, if anything they use them against you. Plus, he was 100% correct.
On a separate note; why the hell are people still defending this game and the multi-billion dollar company that made it?!

  2. All this boils down to is the impact that Halo/Halo 2, Resident Evil 4, Grand Theft Auto 3, Half-life 2, Ass Creed, Fallout 3, and CoD MW had on gaming.

Many of these milestones are essentially composite games wheras before genres were very specific and limited in their design, features and rules.

I think ambitious titles in the future if they want to be more than one thing should take a closer look at the specifics of what made the design of these titles unique rather than how many similar features they shared with other franchises.

  3. The No Man’s Sky part of the rant isn’t really the full picture. It was more complicated then just one dude lying. It was a mix of horrible marketing, hype, a dev who is bad at PR, and several other incidents that occurred

That being said, they did underdeliver, but the situation itself was more complicated. And they have since made up for it in more than enough ways

  4. I agree, this is a practice that I'm really fearing that may trend, but I feel like " why would other companies try that practice? Companies all saw how bad the treatment was towards cyberpunk 2077 and CDPR. So better not risk it at all with the lies"
Again, the last quoted statement might not happen but I'm certain this will place fear and scare within the development to not make the same mistake Cyberpunk 2077 made.

  5. I'm more interested in whether or not they're going to even try to add any of the missing features in. Bug fixes and performance patches are fine, but what about all the things even the E3 tech demo was capable of, that we can't do in the released game.

  6. His comments are correct and should be heard, did he need the f-bombs no, but apologizing really just takes the teeth out of his observations and makes the original article less effective.

  7. honestly cyber punk feels really water down it feels like some of the choices was removed because theres no way to do the hesit a different way no way to kill dex even when there is a opinion v saying I will kill you all cd project red has to do is change the biochip not getting damaged and before v leve the bathroom he or she draws a gun because you konw dex kills his gun for hire remember bk when v say I konw about fixers and I really hope they add more story of v instead of gonk jhonny cd project red should take from gta on gd stroy instead of making it all about one actor who not every one like

  8. I begin to wonder what the bigger problem of CDPR is. That they try to release a rushed, incomplete, and buggy game, or how they treat the whole issue, pretending that everything is fine because some stupid reviewers gave it a 9/10 or even 10/10, and that bugs would be the only issue.

  9. This guy is completely right about what he said. No game or company is without sin, making false promises is a breach of trust between fans who put money into a game devs product. He spoke from both a gamer and developer view in this statement. As for his apology, it was most likely forced by the company he worked for to save face and avoid controversy.
