  2. Edgerunners was terrible in my opinion. I don't think that even ranks in the top 10 conversation when we talk about anime in the cyberpunk genre. Between that and this live action announcement CDPR feels like it's going in the same direction as the other greedy devs. This is straight up a "we need more money for investors" move so lets go to Hollywood. Love CP2077 but these recent decisions are a red flag to me, especially with them already losing the dev team from these games and now will be working out of the US. It's like they've forgotten why the studio was successful in the first place.

  3. I hated customizing V to never see them. I hope they do third person or do dialague in a cinematic cam for the next game. But preferably I like playing RPG's in third person.

  4. Garbage game I am so disappointed I used to love it now after this patch 2.1 and mod breaking it pissed me also the dlc alternative was depressing.mix of both 1st/3rd person would be better learn from Rockstar.

I prefer a squel to be in 2079 wanna see how V manages her/his future I dont prefer a prequel story!.

  5. Really wished they'd give us 1 more big expansion. Disappointed that they finally made the game great and they're leaving it in the dust.

Its going to be at least 10 years until the sequel comes out so another dlc in a few years from now would've been nice to hold us over for a while.

  6. Welp i'm glad things are looking broghter for cdpr and Cyberpunk 2077. I'm replayi'g for the first time since original release.
It's a waaaaay better experience. A nice one really. So many things, gameplay-wise, have neen improved upon. The immersion is still broken by Johnny i teracting with V in a certain manner on side jobs (police guy, the monk) before you meet him for the supposedly forst time (after that.fateful noght) when meeting with Talemura. And that still sucks the same. 😀
1st person or 3rd person..? I don t mind either way. Bring it on but polish the hell out of it.

  7. As much as I prefer 3rd person for RPGs, I think Cyberpunk works best as first person. The optic upgrades etc. won't work and never be as immerse at 3rd person. But I want cinematic cutscenes like how they've shown first CP2077 gameplay footage but then abandoned.

  8. I doubt our next mc for the sequel will be V. I just idk the new ending felt like the most canon ending even if I disliked it myself personally. I just hope the next cyberpunk game puts more time into the relationships because they all fall a lil flat, even with So Mi and Reed and Alex imho. I like them but everyone feels temporary and not worth knowing beyond surface levels? Yet I'm meant to care about them? Same with the love interests. I am a day one player and fan of the Cyberpunk universe, the lore and everything else but- other people are an important impact on the lives of anyone. Johnny is the only relationship that feels 'real' and depthful to me personally. I feel Judy they tried to flesh out the most but even then it's still so surface. It made V feel very very alone. More than I think was intended. It also made a lot of choices easier that should have probably felt more weighted. I love love this game, more so in current form. But- for me personally I need a lil more depth to people not just doom and gloom and betrayal to cut more because the people matter more.

  9. Looking forward to the live action show. But knowing that Edgerunners took 4 years to make, that show will probably take even longer. Which I don't really mind as I want them to take as much time they need to make it, and hopefully by the time it comes out, the release of the sequel will be closer as well and it'll be good advertisement for the sequel, if it's good of course.

  10. According to the latest report by GAMERANT CD Projekt Red spent approximately $125.9 million to fix the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077, showing a strong commitment to improving the game.

  11. It's really gonna be interesting to see Cyberpunk rebuilt from the ground up on another engine. CDPR seems to believe it will allow them to fully unlock the potential of Cyberpunk, and I'm all for it.
