The exact same kind of hack happened to them in 2017. Either something strange is going on with them internally or they need to (ironical) sort their cyber security out.
To the a$$holes who attacked CDPR : Where the f*ck were you when Bethesda, Blizzard/Activision, EA and the likes were f*cking their customers in the a$$?
Anyone having games on GOG, download it all for backup. Seems CDPR are seriously targeted for oblivion sadly. Consolation, 25 hour games streched to over 100 hours and full of MTX should keep us busy! Those other compagnies are so "gamer" oriented aren't they?

Their "contacts in gaming journalism" will be also committing the crime (by carrying out the extortion threat) if they print, or refer to in a revealing way, any of the material which is still the intellectual property of CDPR. If I were CDPR, I'd let all the gaming media know in very strong terms, that it will become a matter for the criminal courts (not just the lame, long drawn-out civil courts) if they do it. Theft and extortion are criminal matters.

I understand that people are disappointed with the game (I am too) but this just makes things worse by delaying the much needed patches and fixes.

I'm guessing that tweet re potential exploits being blamed on modders when it was already in the coding was the last straw. Good job, let's hope EA is next lol..
can't catch a break…well…they f-ed with people,lied multiple time, didn't aknowledge the fact that the game is early access and is missing at least 50-60 % of the advertised content, they throwed QA team under the bus, then modders have warned them against an exploit, cdpr did nothing for a week and more or less said that the fault was on the modders side despite the fact that it was cdpr fault…and the list goes on and on..so ….as an angry and disapointed consumer and gamer : well deserved . also , i hope that these source code maybe help fixing and finishing the game since cdpr does not seem to think they should release a finished product, or finish it because this is what people have paid for,a finished product wich is not missing 60 % of it's content and not have billions of bugs.

Well what do you know. Turns out if you bullshit people for years on end, sell them an unfinished early access mess for full price, and roll in the hundreds of millions in record profits, it paints a big target on your back for assholes like this hacker to attack you. CDPR reaping what they sowed with their years of bullshit as far as I can see. Hope this doesn't affect the devs negatively.
