For some reason after I finish this mission it’s keeps on making me repeat it to when we are leaving Viks shop and I’m just stuck in an endless loop not being able to go free roam.
Misty is wearing jackies jacket. I fucking love that
Wanna know what makes this the absolute worst ending? Aguilar.
Spoilers ahead.

There is a quest where you assume the identity of a Cuban assassin by the name of Aguilar. Aguilar is so feared globally that Barghest goons and higher ups fear him. The real Aguilar catches wind of you assuming his identity and manages to contact you, promising that he will look for you. Come the expansion's ending, you become just another face in the streets with little to no power to defend yourself.
Because of this, not only you killed Johnny and doomed yourself to a life as a cubicle monkey, but you also have an globally feared assasin who knows your contacts after you. So not only does V live a slow life, he also now lives in paranoia. And that's not counting all the enemies he's made during his life as a merc.
Just finished this ending myself and it was ROUGH. V lived but literally is a shell of who they were and all his friends have moved on. It hurt more getting punked by those guys outside the clinic as a Street Kid. Dropped Padre's name and he wasn't even a player anymore. V blending in with the NPCs…man…I dunno.
It's sitting with me!
I swear Cyberpunk 2077 has no good endings. Only slightly less shittier than the other one is all they are. V can not for the life of them get a fucking break man lmao.
Fuck I do not think I can do this ending like on one hand V lives but the downside she can no longer handle any type of implants and can hardly defend herself no different then the npc we see all around night city, on top of that we lost johnny and even lost 2 years of v life. Far worst then one the simple oh yeah gonna die in a couple of months. Like losing 2 years of your life an the worlds moved on with out ya can really mess with people who been in comas
People saying this is a terrible ending, I don’t think so. In video game terms, yes, but if this was your life? You’d rather live out your life than live 6 months wouldn’t you? You don’t even lose your friends, Judy, Misty, Vik and Kerry still there. You’ll have your entire life to make new friends. You lose your legend status and Panam, Johnny and (don’t care much about him tho) River
You destroyed our dreams, you played with our dreams. We believed so much that this time it would happen that even though we were in a dilemma many times, we saw that we were deceived again and again because of our love of helping. You added sadness to our sadness. We saw a light on the horizon, as we moved towards the light, we realized that we were actually drifting further to the bottom, but there was no turning back now. We believed, we continued believing that our struggle would be rewarded, but we saw someone in our situation. We resigned ourselves to our situation to save him. We wondered if it could be any other way, and this time we went back and used the chance for ourselves with remorse. Even though the end was as we wanted, we saw that it was not at all what we expected. Everyone we helped in this world where we spent dozens of hours; We saw how he turned his back on us in the ending that ended in a way we wanted but never expected. We saw that we, who were the legend of the city when we were nothing, were unable to even throw a punch, were thrown to the ground and beaten pitifully by an ordinary vagabond. We watched with our mouths open. With this painful experience in the ending, which we call the end, we watched V, the legend of that city, walking on the NPC-like roads with his neck bent, thinking how all the good deeds, sacrifices and help he had done in his life were in vain, and we closed the game with a heavy heart. . With your stories, music and atmosphere, you have caused us to experience days that we will never be able to get over for a while, and especially with your music that makes us feel our sadness to the core.
I bet if V knew he would lose his powers along with Johnny …he wouldnt had went through with the procedure
And V becomes an NPC
I'd rather go out in a blaze of glory.
Don't like these endings..
at the start of the story, viktor has long given up on his dreams of being a boxer, and misty lost the love of her life jackie… v can no longer be a edge runner but that's a worthwhile price to pay to still have a chance at being able to find some sort of happiness.
I just got this mission. Should I do this after I do everything else in the game? I haven't progressed much in the main game.
I wonder if this will be cannon ending to the game sad but grate maybe v becomes a fixer or a mentor to the new protagonist in second game
This is probably the most depressing ending, even the suicide didn't hit me so hard 😭
Really disappointed by this ending. The whole game is trying to tell you an important message about V condition, Night city is the place where dreams go to die, it's not a city of "opportunities", being nobody gets you killed, used up, and thrown away. Best ending is don't fear the reaper, where you see this idea in full, living by the rules of the city is worse than death, after learning about Johnny's past and his mistakes, V found a way to rise above Night city, above his own mortality even. It doesn't matter if V survives the casino or not, he lives by his own rules and is ready to die by them, free of corporations, false hopes, and fears. I expected this ending to offer something new, maybe a place within the system as part of it, but much more important or strong standing to just be thrown away if not neaded anymore, where V would be consumed by his actions and become corporate boss or secret agent, to show us how Night city creates monsters and integrates them in system, even if they think otherwise, like Adam Smasher or Saburo. Instead we got the worst ending, V is destroyed, his achievements are gone, all lessons that Johny wanted to teach were completely missed. In the end, after all the suffering and strugling, V fades away to nothing. Pretty much the sui ending, but without the satisfaction of going out on your own terms without draggin anyone else with you.
This video doesn't include the shoot Reed ending.
Well… it seems the panam + judy ending still seems the best. Theres hope you get better and you get to leave night city
i hate that ending. I like the mr. blue eyes more. it still gives hope for V to not loose everything
''We lost everything, we had to pay the price''
You know as a corpo this ending hurts a lot i mean think about it.
At the beginning we were on top of the world and lived a good life. They took that from v and became a nobody.
Then with the help of jackie meet new people and begin anew. New life and everything.
And now with this ending, were back again to nothing. This time theres nobody to help us and we dont have cybernetics.
Its even worst that our first downfall….v really hit the bottom of the abyss in this one
Even if V is cured, this is not the ending V deserved
you pissed me off with your decisions
i feel fucking gross like it feels like everything you and by association johnny did was for nothing your friends have forgotten you arasaka is leaving town just for another corp so johnny's wish isn't even fulfilled or simply in the worst way possible your love interest's connection's all forgot you hell you can't even be a merc if you wanted to ever again so lived but your life died when you entered the AV you got the life you fought to keep having but the life you were fighting for died so this is just the wrong city for happy endings and there wasn't one anywhere else either
It really rubs me the wrong way how nearly everyone in this ending turns their back on V. I'm sorry for disappearing for two years but I had no idea I'd be in a coma and you'll have to forgive me for not wanting to FUCKING DIE.
Damn, I don't know what I did wrong in this playthrough since I always please Johnny whenever I can (All my other playthrough I always get the secret ending option), but for some reason in this one, despite I think I did all the same, Johnny hates my guts in this ending. Even the dialogue choices at his Tomb were slightly different. I wonder what I forgot. I'm even 85% with him
I have really no idea which ones worse the Arisaka, or the phantom liberty ending
I like the idea of this ending, the quiet life thing and such, but knowing that nobody gives a sheet about you except Vic, kinda sks
V: Now I have to wait around like everyone else. I’m an average nobody. I get to live the rest of my life like a Schnook.
Cue Sid vicious My way.
Please, we need a secret main better than this one, I just can't live Normal with this kind of ending, it has to be another way of ending Cyberpunk
Worst Ending Ever.
How ironic, both V and songbird are "alive" in this ending but everything is stripped away from their lives as a result.
