  1. Actually… im willing to bet its not cut content… Now hear me out. You figured out that it only came in after you have the chip. The developers said he hopes that it will take years to figure out all the secrets. What if its a secret? If you notice it suggests you purchase with skill points. But nothing happens. What if… its because you dont have enough? What if you are meant to save a bunch till you can purchase it? What if you have to max relationship with silverhand? Food for thought

  2. Honestly think it’s stupid to think it had/has no purpose. They would have wasted several hours putting that in for no reason if that was the case. I work on games and honestly your reasoning is probably the least likely scenario. It’s probably something they wanted to do and didn’t end up having time. Something they did do didn’t completely finish and cut but forgot that part or a set up for a DLC. There probably was gonna be a Johnny specific skill tree that you’d get points for the closer you get to Johnny during the story and it would have had Johnny related skills. This makes the most sense and I think they just didn’t have time to really start or finish it and that’s as far as they got.

  3. I was just doing the Star ending, so I checked. You still have the glitched 6th stat, so they don't remove it when Johnny goes his way.

Honestly, I'm not sure what the 6th stat would have been. Gut says it's tied to the Flathead, which was cut pretty late in development as an active ability, but that should have been just a third branch of the Intelligence tree. Other default assumption is that the chip was going additional features (possibly letting you let Silverhand drive more actively and having perks for when he did). It really makes little sense why they kept it. Not the most nonsensical decision they made, but pretty high on the list.

  4. I believe they said initially that there was supposed to be a master tree like if you invested in intelligence completely like I did you were supposed to unlock the net runner tree or some thing similar Or it could be situation like a mutation system in blood and wine

  5. They need to open up skill points to be reallocated at any time, as in AC Valhalla. This would then allow mission specific builds, making the game deeper and way more interesting. They missed a great opportunity there

  6. This is a good theory but i still think its something we havnt found yet or something coming later. My wildest theory is that the Relic or Soul killer attributes are found in this sixth skill tree because we already have something that indicates Johnnys presents with us in game.

  7. DLC prediction: Notice how the skill trees have 5 selections with the 6th skill tree being inaccessible and blurred? Well, the last skill tree is called: "Gemini" it is only accessible after some extra quest with Alt Cunningham before the end. As all of you would have guessed it, the ending changes. V manage to stole another relic shard and asked Hellman to modify it according to what Alt specify, technically merging V's engram and Johnny Silverhand into a single soul, something like Johnny V Silverhand. What "Gemini" does for players are basically giving another set of skill tree templates for the player to choose from. For example my previous build is a netrunner, by using Gemini I can practically switch to another skill template like Techno Blademaster, so that players does not need to restart from scratch to fully explore what the game has to offer in terms of gameplay. Of course, this is just a prediction, take it with a grain of salt.

  8. Great minds think alike mate, I did that part of Johnny's quest line last night and chose the same options in your vid, scribe name, legend of Night City, and you gave them hope lol 😂

  9. To me that has always been the most clear sign that this game was not finished, it looks really bad. Like they tries to hide all the other half-done things and they're not as noticeable but this is right in your face everytime you open your skill menu.

  10. I believe it was cut content planned for a future dlc. If you look back at the Witcher 3 you had the dlc which added the ability to add other Mutagen Transmutators that added a lot more to the RPG aspect. Maby you will have the ability to create or find other bio chips that allow you to have former key ncp like Jackie that adds other options within the game. I may be way off but that was my first thought.

  11. I also believe it's Johnny, why is it when you beat the game and choose whatever ending it doesn't let you keep and continue the game with whatever ending path you've chosen? It's just weird. Would make sense if you were able to keep the ending for example Johnny's, that skill tree would still be useful to continue the game. Rumor the dlc would contain more missions for Johnny if you chose him to keep the body.

  12. Do people have any idea of how little coding would be needed to hide that 6th skill if CDPR had cut that skill?! So all the people saying "cut content". Go and do someone programming research!
