  1. I have yet to see a new game release that I want to play more than 2077. While I do switch to other games between replays, I return to 2077 when I feel like a longer play session. All games have their flaws and shortfalls. No one ever gets the game they imagined during the hype phase. Personally I can imagine enough content to keep CDPR working on this game for decades. Much of it I am certain will never come to be, but it is both entertaining and beautiful in my mind. CDPR will not meet my level of expectation and I am okay with that because I know my expectations are quite high. Hopefully we will be able to meet somewhere in the middle.

  2. I, for one, love the game. I'm keeping my expectation low regarding DLC, so for now I'm just hoping for some small additions.
Things that are ACTUALLY doable, not just wishful thinking… E.g. – Enemy Level Scaling, more HUD options (like being able to turn off the freakin' Loot Icons, because I don't wanna be playing a looter-shooter) , changing Character Appearance mid-game (probably at Ripperdocs, right?) and restoring the original E3 Male & Female V face presets.

  3. The point is, the ps4 and ps4 pro are in no dimension EVER able to run the game properly. But 85% of the complaints are from ps4 and ps4 pro users. That´s just like trashing CDPR for their Witcher 3 port for the Nintendo Switch. I also still! think that the PC version of the game was way "done" (but not polished) when CDPR wanted to release it in september but they held it back to improve the last gen versions. So we literally got the december release with the september version and all the waiting was just so that console owners were not "left behind" for the release.
I even think they catered to the playstation crowd, even if it led to new pc issues, when there were the "bug" that ryzen cpus were not properly utilised at first. It turned out that parts of the ryzen cpus were not utilized due to the playstation jaguar cpu optimisation. So IMO at least all story DLCs should be only for PC and next gen consoles, that´s when one can only get no "what could this game have become" thinking.

  4. There's really not much to add here from my side, you pretty much said it all. Like you said, the first expansion absolutely needs to come in with a bang, adding a lot more story and content into the game.

Story and cyberware/character customization are probably the things I was most dissapointed with when the game came out. The story is basically half of what the Witcher 3 delivered, and the customization options are also really superficial. So I'm hoping to see some massive additions there.

I'm hoping for the best, and so far things have definitely started to move in the right direction. I really want this IP to do exceptionally well, because its potential is pretty much endless.

  5. I've decided to wait until the Series X upgrade and hope it'll be out this year, but early 2022 should be fine. I know what to expect from the DLCs and I'm satisfied. What needs to be fixed are the remaining technical problems. I'll accept whatever the expansions have in store. They've been working on the first one since launch. I'm just excited to get any large content for this world tbh.

  6. Yeah man, the game is farrrr from finished still, almost a year from realease.
The thing is, they’d would be nuts to release the next gen version if so much of the game still sucks (mods on weapons still not working, cops don’t work properly, pop in etc).
They need to release the next gen version as a complete game, and my beliefs is that’s what they’re trying to do, release it as originally intended. That’s what’s taking so long, not the port. The next gen consoles are basically PCs now, so it can’t be THAT hard.
Lastly, they need the next gen version to release with an expansion, free!
We need a REASON to want to jump back in that’s going to keep us engaged, not just play for 10 mins a d go “ahh yeah looks way better, but I’m bored now, bye..”
Hope they figure it out, cos they’ve ruined themselves releasing the way they did.

  7. This game should have been for current gen/ PC only and at th middle or end of 2022.
They shoot themselves on their foot releasing also for old gen (yes they make a lot of money but also they ruin their reputation). Now every update or feature they want to add will be a nightmare for them.
PD: Agreed with you in terms of inmersion. They need to invest a lot in this area. Great video.

  8. It would be nice to get deeper systems as well. Eg: Dynamic reputation system (cops, gangs, corporations).
They must provide a public, supported modding tool as well if they want to keep the IP alive.

  9. lastKnownMeal, Sorry Don't agree with your analysis at all. The Game was pretty good from the start on PC. The only problem I noticed was how OP the MC could become quickly. The small glitches and frame rate stuff is something that is mostly user dependent of their platform. Where Cyberpunk 2077 excels is in the story line and the Genre and the huge amount of potential that exist in the gangs that never made it into the game. They easily have 10 years of DLC on that alone. Also. The game has Massive, utterly massive potential for expansion because it's a city and about 90% of the buildings are just background waiting to be used for content. Really as long as writers can come up with fun and interesting new material there is no reason this game couldn't become a massive platform for entertainment well into 2030.

  10. Personally, I'm getting real tired of people saying the XB1/PS4 version of the game can't/won't/shouldn't be fixed so that CDPR can "move on" – like we didn't pay for game like everyone else. If CDPR doesn't fix it and abandons us they can F off as far as I'm concerned, I won't buy anything else they release in the future – and if anyone I know asks about games they've released, I'll advise them to not buy them.

As for hiring modders… I see how that helps PC users (as always), but fail to see how it helps people with a console version.

  11. Please cover Terminator: Resistance, it needs coverage as its very well polished, excellent rpg dialog, great voice acting and good story. Thanks for also covering and keeping us upto date with CP2077.

  12. I will go to my grave with the belief that CDPR messed up when they chose to focus on NextGen before current Gen. Especially considering NO ONE could get a PS5 or XBOX series X. All the effort should ve went into PS4/PRO and XBOX1/1X. I love the story but I must be honest with myself and say they should've done better. 8 YEARS.

  13. I want a 2020 dlc that goes in depth about silverhand past throughout the game we get to see flashbacks, but I would love to see Johnny in the glory days of Samurai and maybe we would get some insight on Morgan Blackhand.

  14. CDPR’s most important priority right now should be to fix the performance issues on last gen consoles, you can’t just abandon the systems you specifically marketed the game for and honestly it shouldn’t be that difficult, I mean I’m on the Xbox One X and the only locations when the FPS is tanking is in the Asian locations like little China and Japantown in Night City. The rest of the map is really stable and playable, maybe the base PS4 and Xbox One is beyond saving which is understandable but the enhanced versions still has some hope.

  15. I agree fixes and more customization should be first. I pretty much agree with all of your talking points, especially about the small details and more small activities. Those are both super important for immersion and keeping players in the game. Personally i enjoyed the story, and even enjoyed the way it was laid out even if it never was a convincing rpg type story. My only problem is that you can basically just do the side quests for alternate endings then you just pick A,B,C,or D for your ending like its a multiple choice test. Shouldve had choices that locked out other endings, wouldve made your decisions have an impact and once again increased immersion. The lack of faction missions bothers me too, i get not joining them. But come on we get a mission for like two factions and theres so much more they couldve done there.
