Cyberpunk 2077 Most Versatile Character Build Ever: Never Play The Prologue Again

Welcome to the 3 part series of building the best character in Cyberpunk 2077! Why is this the best character? Because this character is going to be your save point after the heist and you will never have to play the prologue and part of Act 1 again.

***EDIT 10/20/21*** This build is still 100% viable. In this 3 part series I might talk about legendary gear, or certain counts for Eddies and such. Of course the game has been patched since this series came out, but none of the patches have changed how you use this build, or its effectiveness. The patches may have moved or removed items, reduced or increased earnings or scrap, but none of that changes what this build is about.

***EDIT 2/15/22*** Hey there Draconians and Nova Chooms! If you followed the MOAB (the Mother of All Builds) build here on the channel, and had questions about what might have changed with the new Cyberpunk update patch 1.5, worry no more. I am doing a complete run of the MOAB again (didn’t I create the MOAB so I wouldn’t have to start again?). Over the next week or so, I will be devoting my free time to running through Act 1 of the game just like I instructed you to do in the MOAB series. I actually doubt much of anything has changed since the build is designed to be pretty dev tampering proof, but I do know that they have made some balance tweaks like this one:

“Various changes related to the economy, including increased rewards from jobs and Open World activities and decreased prices for vehicles and cyberware.”

I am curious to see if the tweaks and changes actually set us up better by the end of Act 1.

Part 4 of the MOAB is coming soon. It might be a very short update video, or it might be filled with all kinds of updates. We shall see! Stay jacked in, deets coming.

The Mother of All Builds is the closest you are going to get to a New Game + right now in Cyberpunk 2077.

We are going to spend very few attribute and perk points and do a hard save on this character after the events following The Heist. Then, whenever we want to try a different play style or build, we go to that save, with pockets full of eddies, good gear and lots of points to build out our toon. No gimmicks or shenanigans here. We play the prologue one more time, then we are done.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.

  1. There is no way for me to pick up what you are putting down. I've watched you play. You pick everything up and never put anything down. 😁. I'm sure this series is going to help a lot of people, me included. Thanks for putting all the time and effort into it.

  2. If you don't mind all your characters having the same background and look when naked then yeah this works. I know there are mods to get you around how you look, but if I'm installing mods I would just look for one than lets you reset attribute points.

  3. Found your attribute strategy is faulty. I’ve done this as well a long time ago, but I desided to put the starting points on body, reflex and cold blood. This because body you always want above 6 since you will want implants that require it no matter the build, same with cold blood and reflex that helps with critícals that you need for all builds. Tech and intelligence is wasted on a lot of builds, tech is useless for net runners, int is useless for all other builds

  4. I did what you said on that first mission. After I knocked out whole place with stealth I went back through and shot everyone then put 2 bodies into the freezer. I did breach protocol on freezer first then put one body in and did it again, then put other body in. I kept getting full xp of 75 for doing breach to the freezer over and over again. Did not really take all that long to cap out at breach skill 6 with 2 perks. Figured that might be useful.

  5. Power gamers who are willing to use any exploit need not apply as you can save attribute and perk points if you are willing to dupe etc. I am using this as a base clean build. With any luck CDPR will recover from their misfortunes and help us out with some good updates that at minimum allows minor cosmetic changes to characters after creation.

  6. They just gotta give us new game plus and let us reset are levels to one but have all of our perks and items that way we can max all attributes eventually or let us go up to 70 in dlc so we can get another attribute

  7. Just so I don't have to keep saying it. Yes, I know the game was updated. Yes, I know that some of the information in this guide series doesn't match the current state of the game. Yes, this build is still completely viable.

Getting upgraded OS or the legendary monowire isn't what this build is about. Getting legendary clothes at this low a level is not what this build is about. While they certainly help, virtually nothing you pick up is going to matter for very long, as you will be finding better gear as soon as Act 2 starts. Can't get the OS I mentioned in the series? Find an OS that gives you more buffer slots that you can afford and have the street cred for. My suggestion just happened to be the best one available at the time. Can't get the Legendary Monowire anymore for free? Pick up a bat or other weapon that ranks up your skill (I think a bat works).

Until CDPR changes the game where you can't store up your attribute and skill points, then the MOAB is still a very viable foundational build. I hope this answers some of your questions or concerns. Happy gaming!

  8. I feel like you are telling me a lot of good information if I have any idea how to play. Downloading game now. I feel like you have a good approach to the game, as I understand it, this game was maybe meant to be played multiple times through, and you understand that. The first character can set the stage for the next, some games kinda do this, is this one of them?
