  1. Is SoF2 still what you consider to be the pinnacle of gore? Also, would you ever take a look at a game called Cold Winter for the PS2? It was a very, very very violent game (for it's time), including blowing peoples limbs off in many different places, from the fingers to the entire arm, dynamic blood that would drip down walls and an amazing havok physic system. It is an exclusive, so the only way would be to emulate or play on original hardware. I love the channel!

  2. Is Cyberpunk 2077 worth getting from a combat standpoint? I tried it at launch but the enemy AI was so broken, it made combat not fun—I’m talking enemies just charging, then running away with their backs turned… also stealth was pointless because of how bad the enemy AI was.

  3. I remember reading an article with the devs hyping the gunfights and said, the aftermath will feel like a gunfight has just happened with environmental damage, blood and destruction. Biggest lie ever. The gore was so disappointing in the base game

  4. Mod author here, thanks so much for the video! Your showcase of the mod is very fair and accurate. The melee dismemberment really can be hard to see sometimes, it depends on which splatter decal the game picks, and it always goes in the direction of the swing, so the splatter might end up on a wall if it's a sideways slash. It tends to show up more often (and way more visibly) when an NPC is dismembered close to the ground with a top-to-bottom swing. I haven't yet been able to unlock the gunshot blood splatters for melee hits, unfortunately.

Some specific guns also don't seem to cause as much blood splatter as others. You demonstrated one of them: the double-barrel shotgun. Other shotguns, bizarrely enough, seem to cause more blood splatter. I've been trying to find the parameters that govern weapon-specific splatters, but no luck so far.

I do have a fix for the body bulletholes disappearing, though, and I intend to implement it on an update soon. It's not perfect, but at least they will no longer magically disappear right in front of the player's eyes. 😀

    Thanks again for the video!

  5. This with an hardcore mod so you kill people on 1 to 3 shots would be cool. Add some matrix style bullet time and you have a banger. More enviromental destruction would be awesome too.
